Jibbs

00:00:52.540 - 00:00:58.460

And good Tuesday morning, everybody. Welcome to Azeroth Morning Radio.

Mathias Shaw

00:00:58.940 - 00:01:01.580

It's Shaw. Matthias Shaw.

Jibbs

00:01:01.740 - 00:01:05.720

Shaken, not stirred. Anyone? Welcome everybody.

Kash

00:01:07.720 - 00:01:11.720

Dude, Matthias Shaw always sounds like he's having a bad day.

Jibbs

00:01:11.720 - 00:01:12.160

I know.

Kash

00:01:12.160 - 00:01:12.840

Every day.

Jibbs

00:01:12.840 - 00:01:18.680

I know. It's like he stepped on a Lego every morning when he exits out of his medieval fantasy bed.

Kash

00:01:19.640 - 00:01:23.000

Yeah, younglings, who left the Legos out again?

Jibbs

00:01:24.520 - 00:01:43.380

Seven threshings. Anyway, folks, we are your hosts. My name is Jibs and I'm joined by. He hails as the priorities greatest janitor of 2020. I'm sorry, 2019 and 2020.

His name is Cash.

Kash

00:01:43.940 - 00:01:55.420

Zero chance of that actually ever happening. Because I failed the background check at the Priory, they will not let me anywhere near religious people. I'm too much of a heathen.

Jibbs

00:01:55.420 - 00:02:00.020

Dude, they're like, what is this Sleep token shirt? You can't come in.

Kash

00:02:00.580 - 00:02:05.700

We can't have you Sleep token. Sleep token's not that bad. There's a lot of worse bands out there.

Jibbs

00:02:05.700 - 00:02:07.620

Oh, I'm sorry, I meant Ghost. My bad.

Kash

00:02:07.940 - 00:02:21.620

That one might be on the fence. You're a Ghost fan out there? I certainly am. But yeah, they're. They're a little more theatric when it comes to music.

Goblins

00:02:22.980 - 00:02:27.700

More theatric than that crying fit you had when you discovered your hair was disappearing?

Kash

00:02:28.520 - 00:02:32.280

Careful, shifty. Keep talking and I start docking pay.

Goblins

00:02:32.760 - 00:02:34.680

Oh, yeah, dock this.

Kash

00:02:38.040 - 00:02:41.640

Okay, okay. I'm kidding. You're paid. Fully paid.

Goblins

00:02:42.840 - 00:02:45.160

Good.I don't want to see my gold receding.

Jibbs

00:02:49.160 - 00:02:54.030

Oh, so good, buddy. What's Warcraft been for you this week, bro?

Kash

00:02:55.070 - 00:02:57.310

I got grumpy this week.

Jibbs

00:02:57.710 - 00:03:00.270

Oh, got the grumpies.

Kash

00:03:00.830 - 00:03:04.590

Yes, I got the grumpies because Warcraft got minimal for me this week.

Jibbs

00:03:04.590 - 00:03:05.510

Oh, that'll do it.

Kash

00:03:05.510 - 00:03:53.180

Badly. I had. Over the weekend, I had. I missed three days of playing. And it was all for a good reason, though. It's all for a good reason.

But yeah, I missed a few days of playing and I started to realize how grumpy I get when I don't play Warcraft. But I moved.

I was moving my long time office slash podcast studio from one side of the house to a bigger room in the front of the house, which was a very good move.

And you might hear a little resonance, a little resonance in my voice because all of my Sound panels and all of my sound treatments for this room are not quite finished yet. But I think we're going to be okay.

Jibbs

00:03:53.340 - 00:03:53.860

I love it.

Kash

00:03:53.860 - 00:03:54.940

I think we're going to be okay.

Jibbs

00:03:54.940 - 00:04:09.740

I love it. It looks like the start of and because I know you're not. You said you're not done decorating it.

Like, it's like the halfway point of a beautiful fantasy room. I got beautiful backlighting, a gargoyle behind you, the alliance crest on your mantle.

Kash

00:04:09.980 - 00:04:36.460

Yeah, I have a mantle and a fireplace and it's like the front room of our house. Right. So like you first walk in the house and it's the first room and it's got these big barn doors on it.

It's just, it's going to be a really cool studio. So I got to give, I gotta give love to my wife Molly for saying yes to doing this because it was a massive project.

And I'll tell you what, you know how I am with cable management.

Jibbs

00:04:36.860 - 00:04:38.380

Oh gosh. Yeah.

Kash

00:04:38.380 - 00:05:22.710

I am ridiculous about cable management. I don't want to see a single cable. I don't hate many things in my life, but I hate cables.

Having to take my studio apart and take every single cable out of how I had it managed and have to re. Put everything back together again. It was a better part of an eight hour day.

Doing everything correct and making sure everybody, you know what, by the grace of the titans, everything was plug and play. Plugged it right back in. We barely had to sound check. Like the board kept all my settings. Everything was as good as it could have been.

Jibbs

00:05:22.790 - 00:05:42.330

That's crazy. Yeah. Honestly, the, the fact that the levels are very similar, if not same like that is a feat in itself. Yeah, that's.

You know how many men, well, anybody, you know how many people would just die to have a fireplace in their studio? All of us. All of us.

Kash

00:05:42.730 - 00:06:08.170

I'm very lucky to have this as a, as a place to record and play and do all the things. And again, credit goes to my wife. She's fantastically open about stuff like this. And I completely slurped up her first optical.

It's like the first optics of anybody that walks into our home and now they're going to see two barn doors and if they open them, they're going to be like, oh my God, this is a studio.

Jibbs

00:06:08.890 - 00:06:09.420

Yep.

Kash

00:06:09.730 - 00:06:10.930

Welcome to our crazy house.

Jibbs

00:06:11.010 - 00:07:21.310

That's awesome. That's cool. Yeah, it was a good week for me in gaming. I made a lot of updates to set set lock, which is now two words for the add on.

So if you're looking for it and you're like jibs, what happened? Because I said everybody was one word. And I changed it as I realized I changed it as the. The day that the episode actually released. So Tuesday.

And I'm just like, oh, well, that was probably an error. But so if you're looking for it, it's been approved. Updates have went through and so that it's. It's now working as intended. As far as I can tell.

Everything. You can sort your bags and stuff will move around and. But you know, you won't ever sell anything. It's. You've got set up. So it's. It's working well.

I'm bummed because I am 6,000 like 200 gold away from hitting 1 million gold from decoration sales. And I thought for sure I put all my items up for sale, went to bed. Here's where we talk about undercutting. This is how bad is. I had an item up there.

It was on sale for 22,000 gold. I was. I was doing a test. I wanted to do a test item. I logged back in. The undercutting had brought it all the way down to 8100 gold.

Kash

00:07:21.870 - 00:07:27.630

I'm just like, oh, now you feel the pain that I'm feeling with my. With my jacuzzis.

Goblins

00:07:27.980 - 00:07:28.340

Yeah.

Jibbs

00:07:28.340 - 00:07:40.060

Yeah. I wanted to get on here and report like I had hit that mark. That goal of 1 million gold. Never. I've never had that. And. But I am. I'm a whisper away.

I'm almost there, buddy.

Kash

00:07:40.060 - 00:07:41.820

It's pretty impressive, honestly.

Jibbs

00:07:41.900 - 00:07:42.780

Thanks, dude.

Kash

00:07:42.780 - 00:07:49.660

Okay, first of all, the add on. The fact that you made an add on is very impressive.

Jibbs

00:07:49.660 - 00:07:50.020

Thanks.

Kash

00:07:50.020 - 00:08:00.870

And I haven't. I don't think that I have eloquently enough expressed my feeling that you made a freaking add on. Like that's not what we do.

Jibbs

00:08:00.950 - 00:08:01.670

It's not.

Kash

00:08:02.870 - 00:08:29.520

It's pretty awesome. I think it's awesome. And I downloaded it yesterday and it works great again. It. It's just. It's very impressive.

I even found yesterday that I don't even think you know that it works if you have a set that's sitting in your bank. Yeah, it locked it down in the bank, which was. Was kind of cool.

I haven't tried to take it out yet, but I assume that if I would take it out and it goes into my inventory, then it'd be grayed out and unable to sell.

Jibbs

00:08:29.520 - 00:08:30.320

It should be.

Kash

00:08:30.640 - 00:08:41.280

So that's really cool. I just wanted to highlight that before. Before I go on. And. And the other thing is with your. Your auction house endeavors.

Jibbs

00:08:42.000 - 00:08:42.480

You've.

Kash

00:08:42.480 - 00:08:46.640

You've never done that. Like, you've talked about it. Hey, I want to. I want to make gold.

Jibbs

00:08:47.010 - 00:08:47.290

Yeah.

Kash

00:08:47.290 - 00:08:53.490

And we'll dabble a little bit in. But you really did it this time. I think you were down to less than 10,000 gold.

Jibbs

00:08:53.730 - 00:08:56.210

I was down to 1600 gold.

Kash

00:08:56.610 - 00:08:59.010

That's impressive.

Jibbs

00:08:59.330 - 00:09:51.050

That was. I had went at that point. I had made the investment to buy all the mats and just go for it. I had 1600 gold left.

So it was either this is going to work or it's going to fail. And thankfully, it's. It's worked out. Yeah, I. Yeah, it's crazy, to be honest with you. I love every second of it that I'm still deeply.

Before I move forward again. I did not completely code that add on. I had help with AI Just to be clear. Like, I am not a coder, and I just saw a need.

Saw a need in the community and just wanted to. To help. And so, like, I don't want to sit here and take credit like, oh, I'm a coder. And I did all. I definitely didn't.

But I troubleshooted the heck out of it trying to get to work for everybody. And so that's the biggest thing. I think that I contributed. But that said, thank you for the kind words on that. I'm glad it's working well.

And I had no idea it worked well in the bank. That was a feature I did not know existed, so. Perfect.

Kash

00:09:52.010 - 00:09:55.090

Well, there you go. You consider me your first beta tester.

Jibbs

00:09:55.090 - 00:10:03.650

Oh, yay. So, honestly, I haven't heard much feedback on it, so I don't know how well it's working for folks, so I'm glad to know it works for the bank. But.

Kash

00:10:03.650 - 00:10:08.870

Yeah, well, hopefully you get some more downloads over the next week. And. Yeah, you know, Cool. Really? Check it out.

Jibbs

00:10:08.870 - 00:10:37.960

That'd be cool. Definitely. And yeah, thanks again for the. The nod on the. The decor. It's been fun.

You know, I think for you and I both, though, honestly, like, I still do my housing dailies every day I'm there in Founders Point every day. I eat that stuff up. I'm still hunting for decor. And it's funny because I was listening to our episode with the. What was the episode? Late watch.

And like, still when we even recorded that, I'm still trying to get the trellis from Priory to drop.

Kash

00:10:38.280 - 00:10:44.920

Oh, man. I'll go run it with you again because I've been pretty lucky on getting those drops. And if I get it, she is yours.

Jibbs

00:10:44.920 - 00:11:14.480

Oh, I appreciate that, buddy. My man. Yeah, but, you know, it's been fun. It's been fun. And, you know, I think that's a discussion we should have some time about.

I don't think you were there last night, but we talked about, like, what if. What if they fleshed out Founders Point?

What if they had two delves and Founders Point, what if, you know, like, you just kept building that up more and more because it's beautiful locales and perfect stuff to just build upon. But anyway, yeah.

Kash

00:11:15.360 - 00:11:16.240

Future goals.

Jibbs

00:11:16.400 - 00:11:37.080

Future goals. That's right. That's right. Well, folks, thanks so much for hanging out with us.

This is episode 16 of a M R. And by the way, hey, we had some great feedback from last episode from a ton of new viewers, new listeners. The lore lesson. Dude, they loved the lore lesson.

Kash

00:11:37.560 - 00:12:21.400

Seems like in. In true snark fashion, lore lessons are gonna fly. So we're gonna. We're gonna continue. I mean, they're gonna continue anyway. We like doing them.

And honestly, it gives us an opportunity to really dive into the lore of Warcraft and fill a gap that I think we had. And this comes back from experience, our experience in podcasting for Elder Scrolls years ago.

We learned so much about the story of that game and really grew to love that world that. That they built.

Jibbs

00:12:21.400 - 00:12:21.880

Yeah.

Kash

00:12:22.200 - 00:13:15.540

And we want the same exact thing and more for Azeroth. I want to know that lore backwards and forwards so that when somebody asks a question, I have an answer right off the cuff.

And that's how we got with Elder Scrolls stuff. And we can freely admit we're not there with Elder, we're with World of Warcraft lore yet.

But we will be, and we're hope, hopefully we want you guys to be along on that journey with us, learning everything that there is to know about the story.

So when you're, you know, you're running around the world and you see something, you're like, oh, my gosh, that's that location that we're talking about. Or that's that NPC that they were talking about, or, you know, this Titan or whatever. Yeah, we want you to be in the know.

So we're going to continue those and. And seemingly they were very well received.

Jibbs

00:13:15.780 - 00:13:38.980

Yeah. Yeah, it really was. Thank you everybody for the kind words and all the new listeners who have recently joined in.

It's so funny, you talk about those points that like, oh, my gosh, they talked about that. I had that with the book Blood Ties when I was in Legion area and they were talking about certain zones and stuff.

And I'm just like, oh my gosh, I just learned all about this. So that feeling is so real. Like, it's definitely a real thing.

Kash

00:13:40.020 - 00:14:07.100

Yeah.

Some of the funnest parts about Lore is learning a story, hearing a story, learning about it, having some interest, and then getting in the game and going to those locations and then you discover more stuff. You really get to see the ingenuity and the care that was taken by the development team to put items into the world that go along with the story.

Jibbs

00:14:07.990 - 00:17:27.130

Yeah, yeah, definitely, man. Definitely. Yeah. So we're gonna have a great time fleshing out Lore lessons even more. That continues today with more of that.

But this week on the show, we have a brand new heroes call board that we think you're gonna like. We're gonna learn the total pricing of Transmog prices come midnight, which is formidable amount.

Pringles is running a campaign that involves World of Warcraft and so much more Snark's coming back to which apparently trivia. So, yeah, buckle up folks, if you are. And by the way, this episode, this show is for the nine to fiver, the casual player, the mom, the dad.

You grew up loving Warcraft. You grew up. And here we are all these years later. Folks, this show is 100% for you. And it starts right now after the solar lesson.

We'll be right back. When the first Titan opened his eyes, the universe didn't know it was being watched. Aman' Thul didn't rise into a world. He rose into the void.

Alone, aware and already ancient. He didn't speak. He observed stars drifting like sparks. Worlds cooling, timelines branching in every direction.

And he understood something before anyone else ever could. Creation needs guidance or chaos wins by default. Aman' thul became the first great seeker.

The one who reached across the cosmos, searching for others like him. And he found them slowly, over ages, awakening each Titan the same way he once awakened with purpose. Together, they formed the Pantheon.

But Aman' Thul was always the one looking furthest forward and furthest down. Into futures that hadn't happened yet. Into threats that didn't have names. He was the one who sensed Azeroth Lord long before they ever reached her.

A world soul brighter than anything recorded in cosmic history. A potential so great that even the universe reacted. She is not like the others. Aman' thul turned his gaze toward that sleeping world.

And from that moment on, the Titan's destiny and Azeroth's were fused. She would be the greatest triumph of the Pantheon. Or their greatest Loss.

Next, we zoom all the way down from the cosmic scale to the heart of our own world to understand why Azeroth mattered so much to the Titans, to the void, to everything that follows. We need to meet her true self. All right, that was fun. Aman Thule, dude, like, that was a. It's kind of a shady guy.

I don't know how I feel about him, to be honest. I feel like he's. He could go either way. Could be good, could be bad.

Kash

00:17:27.610 - 00:18:09.580

Well, there's. There's a lot of talk out there. There's a lot of scuttlebutt out there about the true intentions of the Titans.

Because at first glance you would think, well, the Titans came from the light and the old gods came from the void. So the Titans have to be good, right? Don't know yet. And it seems like Blizzard is fleshing out that lore. So stay tuned and you'll learn more.

But we're. Man, we aren't even at the tippy top of the lore yet. It's insane. Yeah, what we're going to deliver to you guys over, you know, the coming.

Jibbs

00:18:09.580 - 00:18:15.980

Months and years, for context, we have the next 100 lore lessons already scheduled out for you all, so there's that. We already know what's coming.

Kash

00:18:17.260 - 00:18:28.780

Yes, that was a titan of a project. But we're. We're slowly inching toward moving those chains forward.

Jibbs

00:18:28.780 - 00:18:32.060

That's right. That's right. All right, well, it's time for the Heroes Call.

Kash

00:18:34.300 - 00:21:51.670

Heroes Call Friends Adventures. Esteemed listeners of our show, you know the Heroes Call board and how we like to roll with this.

This is basically outlining and showcasing the amazing things that World of Warcraft players are doing out there, inside of the game and outside of the game. And this week we are celebrating the WoW community, leveling up their kindness, creativity and their true impact on the world.

So we're going to talk a bit today and I'm going to introduce you to. If you don't know who this organization is, this is Warcraft Cares.

This is a fan led community of Warcraft players that is focused on charity events and community gatherings.

So one of the latest events that they did and I wanted to detail was during Winter Veil where players didn't just decorate their homes, they shared them for a cause. Warcraft Care's Home Sweet Home Block party turned up the charm and really shined a light on feeding America's hungry, which was super cool.

So what they did was they teamed up with Blizzard for an in game housing showcase and party during Winter Veil and You got to see how true, how truly creative people are out there with their houses by allowing their builds to be spotlighted and having community interactions. And the team up with Blizzard is pretty awesome.

A lot of these things that we talk about on Heroes call board are supported by Blizzard and Blizzard likes to take it an extra step and it's pretty neat to see the integration between developer and their players. So a portion of the event that took place this was on the 16th and 17th of December, again during Wintervale.

A portion of the event proceeds went to Feeding America, which is a non profit that is fighting hunger issues and that really helped to impact the world during our time of joy, our time of celebration, which was really, really neat. So if you're interested in learning more about Warcraft Cares, you can find them pretty much everywhere.

A couple of these I've never even heard of, but they're on Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok threads and you can find them at Warcraft Cares.

I want to give a huge bravo to Warcraft Cares for another successful campaign for the less fortunate and bringing some light to people during the holiday season was pretty cool. Now Warcraft Cares.

I'm not sure if you'd heard our episode when we talked about the Pink Hair run, but they are the ones that do that gnome run, which is. I think it's pink hair. Yeah. And that's in support of breast cancer. And they also do the Troll run in support of the Trevor project.

So if you see Warcraft Cares out there, give them a giant salute and a virtual hug for the amazing stuff that they are doing.

Jibbs

00:21:51.910 - 00:22:36.480

I am so glad you brought them in because I was just quietly following them on Facebook. I think that's one of the few accounts that AMR actually follows on Facebook. It's Warcraft, most of the Warcraft accounts. And then Warcraft Cares.

And just awesome, right? Like, just awesome. Like this is the stuff.

Like we could talk to her blue in the face, but like this is the stuff that, you know, we love to show off and talk about when it comes to the Heroes call board. Because people are going out of their way to take their game time and make it about the real, real life.

People who like are maybe in need or things that are going on. Like that is. I love that, man. It's selfless, it's love, it's kindness and all about it.

Kash

00:22:36.810 - 00:22:48.970

Yeah, this, this is showcasing that the game that we play extends far beyond just logging in and doing your dailies or taking down a tough boss. Yeah, this is the boss of Life.

Jibbs

00:22:49.130 - 00:22:49.610

Yeah.

Kash

00:22:49.850 - 00:23:47.430

And it shows that, you know, it's. I think a lot of it to the demographic of gamers over the years is. Is getting a little bit older.

You know, there's plenty of us that started gaming when we were kids, and we just never grew out of that love and fascination and addiction to the games that we play.

And now we're in a position to be able to give back and extend the things that we've seen in our life, the experience that we've had in gaming and out of gaming, and we're able just to give it a benevolent twist. So again, just bravo to Warcraft, cares for doing stuff like this and other organizations out there.

And trust me, when we find them, we are going to showcase them, because that is what, to me, that is what gaming is all about. It's far beyond just logging in.

Goblins

00:23:49.910 - 00:23:55.510

Breaking news, lots of holly used by the Goblin News Network.

Jibbs

00:23:57.510 - 00:24:02.910

Now we know how you got. You got your finger up. You got. Got the poopies.

Kash

00:24:02.910 - 00:24:13.390

No, that's because every time we play the jingle, I always do the boop, boop, boop, boop with my finger. Oh, my crooked, many times over broken finger that you get to see in the camera.

Jibbs

00:24:13.470 - 00:24:14.030

I do.

Kash

00:24:14.030 - 00:24:15.910

People don't have to be subjected to.

Jibbs

00:24:15.910 - 00:24:18.630

I realize you broke that finger. That kind of makes sense now that I look at it.

Kash

00:24:18.630 - 00:24:20.110

I've broken all of them. Look at them.

Jibbs

00:24:20.110 - 00:24:24.350

Oh, that one. Look at that middle one. Wow.

Kash

00:24:24.510 - 00:24:24.990

Yep.

Jibbs

00:24:24.990 - 00:24:27.150

It's like it's got a 90 degree angle going on there.

Kash

00:24:27.410 - 00:24:33.250

Yeah. Whether it's work or football back in the day, but yeah, broken all of them. She was awesome.

Jibbs

00:24:33.410 - 00:25:24.410

Attaboy. Well, folks, we now know how much gold World of Warcraft players need to unlock all of Midnight's Transmog slots.

Now this coming to us from mmorpg.com and here we go. With Midnight's Transmog overhaul approaching, we now have a clear picture of just how expensive full customization could become. And it's not cheap.

According to the current PTR data, Blizzard's new Outfit slots system starts players off with two free Transmog slots. That's a win. But every additional slot costs gold, and each one gets progressively more expensive. Now, we knew this part.

However, early unlocks are fairly accessible, but the costs scale sharply as players push deeper into the system. Now, keep in mind, folks, this is PTR as of right now. Now, this isn't launch prices. This is right. Right meow. Okay, it's right meow.

Get out of the car.

Kash

00:25:24.410 - 00:25:26.290

Right meow. Was there a meow in there somewhere.

Jibbs

00:25:28.770 - 00:25:40.050

Based on the latest breakdowns, unlocking all 50 available transmog slots would cost more than 2 million gold.

Kash

00:25:42.930 - 00:25:43.890

Sorry about that.

Jibbs

00:25:44.530 - 00:26:02.470

With estimates landing around 2,012,650 gold in total, as the report puts it. This effectively turns transmog into quote, one of the largest gold sinks Blizzard has ever added for a purely cosmetic system.

Kash

00:26:03.270 - 00:26:18.050

Now yeah, definitely a gold sink. Yeah, this will freak people out when they first hear the number, but this is how WOW continues to have a good solid economy.

Jibbs

00:26:18.290 - 00:26:26.850

Yeah, the big. When you, whenever you just say oh two point, you know what, like little over 2 million.

I mean like anyone's gonna freak out because it's a huge number.

Kash

00:26:26.850 - 00:26:27.050

Right.

Jibbs

00:26:27.050 - 00:27:01.460

But in the grand scheme it kind of makes sense and I'll kind of go on why. So like Blizzard doesn't mean intend for everyone to unlock every slot. Like I mean they, they don't expect you to, to do that thing.

However, the system is clearly designed for like long term progression. So casual players can unlock a handful of favorite outfits.

While let's say maybe you're a role player, maybe you're a huge fan of like trial of style and you want to have like you're a die hard Transmogger. Well you can totally invest in that over time if you want to. So again these are PTR prices, not final.

But right now, dude, we're looking at over 2 mil.

Kash

00:27:01.540 - 00:27:22.250

Yeah. And you know what? Like yeah, you get the two free slots and that's great. That gets me to Tuesday basically.

But I wouldn't, I would venture to say I don't change transmog that often. I think, I think we had talked about it already before and I'd say I probably change once or twice a week.

Jibbs

00:27:22.330 - 00:27:22.810

Yeah.

Kash

00:27:23.690 - 00:27:25.130

That's not how often I shower.

Jibbs

00:27:25.210 - 00:27:25.770

Yeah.

Goblins

00:27:25.770 - 00:27:28.810

Tell that to the stench that you brought in here with you today.

Kash

00:27:30.900 - 00:27:40.340

My character showers a lot more than that because while he's traversing rivers and all those things he does a lot of swimming. Oh of course, naturally he gets natural, natural showers.

Jibbs

00:27:40.420 - 00:27:40.900

Yeah.

Kash

00:27:41.540 - 00:27:52.260

But as for changing transmog. Yeah. Probably once or twice a week. But even if you're working towards this, it's a long term project.

Jibbs

00:27:52.580 - 00:27:53.020

Yeah.

Kash

00:27:53.020 - 00:27:59.950

To try and get as many. And I would venture to guess more. Most people probably don't use more than 10 transmogs.

Jibbs

00:27:59.950 - 00:28:30.790

No, I don't. Even for all the transmogging I do.

And honestly you want to know another way to just like if you want to change your Transmog on the fly without ever. I mean granted we're going to be able to do that on the fly, you know, with the, with basically transmog 2.0. Right.

Well, what I currently do is I have my PvE set to set to one Transmog appearance and the other one set to my PVP set set to a different appearance.

And so like just depending on what I feel like wearing, I'll throw on that set and it's already, you know, so it's kind of like set it and forget it kind of instant, you know.

Kash

00:28:30.790 - 00:29:35.420

Yeah.

And the nice part is if you want to do, if you still want to do like Trial of Style, when Trial of Style shows up, it's not going to cost you anything. No, no, it's part of the event where you know, Transmogs are free and I would, I would assume, you know, you get that whatever slot you want.

Now where it might come into play during Trial of Style is I have a tendency, you have a tendency to find out the categories that Trial of Style will use and have used over the years and we'll like, we'll take that list and it'll be like you know, spicy and icy or, or at the beach or wintertime or there's all kinds of different categories that they'll use for Trial of Style and we will pre make Transmogs for it. So it's just like a one click thing. So this new system with only two slots will affect that?

Jibbs

00:29:35.580 - 00:29:45.350

Oh yeah, yeah. Honestly, I suspect I'll probably buy 10 slots which I believe equals out to a little over 100,000 for those. For the first 10 I'll probably buy.

Kash

00:29:45.350 - 00:29:46.790

And that's not terrible.

Jibbs

00:29:46.950 - 00:29:52.950

No, and honestly I, I don't. Do you see yourself using more than like 10 to 15?

Kash

00:29:53.270 - 00:29:55.070

No, I never will.

Jibbs

00:29:55.070 - 00:30:13.760

I don't either. I feel like I would forget. Can you imagine having like like your 47th slot? Like we're trying to remember what like 32 was.

You're like I, I don't think I would ever. I would delete far more sets than I would actually use, I feel like. Because I'd be like that looks like garbage. What was I thinking?

Kash

00:30:14.000 - 00:30:34.570

Yeah, because normally when Trial of Style rolls around I'll pre make a bunch of those and then throughout the rest of the year I'll just start dumping yeah. Same some of those outfits and you know, turning them into other things that I'm interested in.

But yeah, for the most part, no, I'll never, I'll never use 50 Nike. No way.

Jibbs

00:30:34.890 - 00:30:50.730

No, I'll probably, I will probably buy them all over a very long Course of time just to have it. Just to say I have it. But geez, yeah, because I think at one point it gets a hundred thousand per slot. So like, we'll see.

Kash

00:30:50.730 - 00:30:51.290

Sheesh.

Jibbs

00:30:51.610 - 00:31:03.790

We'll see. So anyway folks, there is that. Now we're gonna make a quick mention here.

This coming to us from massivelyop.com Pringles pops open a salty promotion with World of Warcraft, Fallout 76 and Sea of Thieves.

Kash

00:31:03.950 - 00:31:05.790

Ooh, that's an interesting choice.

Jibbs

00:31:06.190 - 00:31:06.750

Yeah.

Kash

00:31:06.750 - 00:31:07.630

Those three games.

Jibbs

00:31:07.710 - 00:31:51.650

Yeah. So if you are to our listeners in the EU and uk.

So there is this real world crossover that's happening and according to the promotion details, this is a quote, cosmetic only collaboration, keeping rewards firmly in the quote, fun extra category rather than anything that affects progression. So apparently these new, I guess it's in Pringles boxes.

I, I, I wasn't really able to like fully understand it, but like they're offering in game cosmetic rewards. The World of Warcraft 1 apparently is a crimson bow tie for transmog. So EU, UK and everyone who's going to buy a code on ebay. There you go.

Kash

00:31:53.330 - 00:31:57.680

So it's not, not a Pringles tube that you can carry in your pocket?

Jibbs

00:31:57.680 - 00:32:04.000

I don't know. It's like I, I do know that Xalatath is on the sour cream and onion box, so there's that.

Kash

00:32:04.080 - 00:32:04.960

Hey, Jibs.

Jibbs

00:32:04.960 - 00:32:05.360

Yeah?

Kash

00:32:05.920 - 00:32:08.640

Is that a tube of Pringles in your pocket?

Jibbs

00:32:08.640 - 00:32:09.200

Oh my gosh.

Kash

00:32:09.200 - 00:32:10.880

Or are you just happy to see me?

Jibbs

00:32:10.880 - 00:32:14.080

It's just the way I'm standing. No, it's not.

Kash

00:32:15.520 - 00:32:19.400

Yeah. So first of all, you said Pringles box and that made me chuckle.

Jibbs

00:32:19.400 - 00:32:20.040

Oh, sorry.

Kash

00:32:20.040 - 00:32:20.980

Because it's a tube.

Jibbs

00:32:20.980 - 00:32:23.220

It's a tube. My bad. Pringles pops.

Kash

00:32:24.980 - 00:32:32.260

Man. I don't know, I, I think it, it's probably been a good amount of time since I've had a Pringle. But they are good.

Jibbs

00:32:32.580 - 00:32:34.580

Yeah, they're not bad. They're not bad.

Kash

00:32:34.660 - 00:32:38.060

Or give them that. I don't. Is even a real potato nowadays.

Jibbs

00:32:38.060 - 00:32:41.380

I don't, it's, it's, it's synthetic.

Kash

00:32:42.580 - 00:32:54.390

Yeah. It's like I'm all about this, right? I'm, I'm all about collaborations between video games and consumer products.

But couldn't they do this like on a T bone steak?

Jibbs

00:32:54.550 - 00:32:58.310

Oh, gosh, that'd be awesome. You know, how many carnivores would that be?

Kash

00:32:58.310 - 00:32:58.630

Great.

Jibbs

00:32:58.950 - 00:33:02.550

Oh, there'd be so many social media pics, people just eating steaks.

Kash

00:33:03.030 - 00:33:11.510

It's T bone steak and it's like, it's it's advertised as real torn meat, grass fed.

Jibbs

00:33:13.920 - 00:33:15.360

Grass fed Tor beef.

Kash

00:33:15.360 - 00:33:30.880

We did a commercial for that but instead we're getting tubes of Pringles that were from Westfalian Potatoes. We made these with potatoes straight from Westfall to get a patata potato.

Jibbs

00:33:31.840 - 00:34:38.450

Gosh. So anyway you can check that out massively. Op that's happening grats folks over the EU uk. Send us a picture if you got one. We want to see it.

We'll put it on our Facebook account. World of Warcraft Players can now plan their house design thanks to a new fan made architect Architect tool. Goodness. Can't talk.

This is coming to us from massvop.com now. This was actually released several days ago but kind of happened in between news cycles for us for the articles we were covering.

So even though player housing hasn't fully released, hasn't fully arrived, wow. Community is already getting ready.

So this is a new fan made housing planner hosted on wowhead that lets players design and preview house layouts outside the game. The tool allows users to experiment with room placement, decor, positioning and overall structure before spending gold or time in game.

While the tool isn't officially supported by Blizzard, it's designed to mirror the flexibility of Midnight's housing system, making it easier to plan around decor limits, placement rules and available space. Check it out.

Kash

00:34:39.090 - 00:34:50.450

Yeah, you can say goodbye to work productivity for a lot of WoW players out there because they get a hold of this on their work computer. It's over.

Jibbs

00:34:50.850 - 00:35:18.190

Yeah, I mean the housing draw is still such a big deal. Like people just are continuously getting better and better. But I have to send you a reel that someone made. It was on Facebook.

It was a night Elf home that looked like they created like connecting bridges that look like they slope with the gravity and it's just rooms that just build upward and it's all night Elf themed and it looks like it's like foresty. I'm just like, oh, I feel like I'm in Lothlorien right now looking around it, all the tree houses.

Kash

00:35:18.190 - 00:35:20.109

That's such a good idea.

Jibbs

00:35:20.430 - 00:35:22.390

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

Kash

00:35:22.390 - 00:36:21.410

I like this. And this is, it's yet another example of number one wowhead. I mean this is fan made but it's getting hosted on wowhead.

So bravo to Wahad for allowing stuff like this. This is fantastic and I think to me this really does show how big of a feature that that housing is, has become and is going to be in the future.

Again, we've talked about gameplay loops, we've talked about how like your Gameplay style has changed completely, completely because of stuff like this. And when you're able to, to plan stuff out.

So I would assume in some way, does it, would it have to be connected to your account so it knows what you have or would this be something that, you know, they just have all of the housing things in there for you to be able to play with?

Jibbs

00:36:21.650 - 00:36:49.810

I wasn't able to find any details on that, but if it's on Wowhead, then I'm sure, sure it's connected to your Blizzard account because you can, you know, do that thing with that, with that. You know, I'll be honest, I always felt like the lines were blurred between wowhead and Blizzard.

Like I, I, at some point along the line I got confused if they were like a part of each other now or just really well integrated and really close for like working relationship. Because some of the cousins, they're cut. They're cousins. He's my cousin.

Kash

00:36:49.810 - 00:36:52.180

They're kissing cousins. They're close. They're very close.

Jibbs

00:36:52.260 - 00:36:55.260

Very close. So yeah, well.

Kash

00:36:55.260 - 00:37:34.540

And so the other thing too is that this is a great idea because it does allow you to pre plan stuff without spending the gold.

You know, if you, if you want to see what you can build with, you know, 10 pieces of timber, 20 or 30 or 40 pieces of timber, you can do it all right here without having to buy all that timber and then have it taking up your inventory space or spending gold on it. So I think that's fantastic. Now the real question, the real question, jibs, is if they make it exportable.

Jibbs

00:37:35.020 - 00:38:12.240

Oh, that's a great question. Let's see that. I don't know. I'm sure people know if they're using it. I have no idea because I haven't touched it yet.

But yeah, I mean like at the end of the day, like housing is just, it's not even released yet. That's the crazy part. Like it's not out. It's, you know, early access that we've all been providing feedback for.

And as a result there will be changes come launch at midnight just because of that feedback. But man, oh man, like I feel like it, the popularity is just building and building and building. Like it's not going down, it's going up.

Kash

00:38:12.240 - 00:38:22.640

Yeah, they're certainly doing it right. They, they are certainly doing right.

Even from, from that first teaser way back when when they showed us that cup that said welcome home or was this a welcome home welcome home?

Jibbs

00:38:22.640 - 00:38:23.200

Yep.

Kash

00:38:23.280 - 00:38:30.160

Yeah. Which was pretty awesome. And you know what's funny is that I've Been looking for something like that to purchase.

Jibbs

00:38:30.240 - 00:38:30.720

Yeah.

Kash

00:38:31.920 - 00:38:41.710

And I've actually seen, I've seen some content creators that were part of that program or were part of that. The initial push for housing.

Jibbs

00:38:41.710 - 00:38:42.190

Yeah.

Kash

00:38:42.270 - 00:38:47.230

With those on stream like daddy needs one. Jealous.

Jibbs

00:38:47.310 - 00:38:47.790

Yeah.

Kash

00:38:47.950 - 00:39:43.620

Need to buy it.

But from all the way back then when they first teased and then bit by bit they gave us a little bit more information about housing and now all of a sudden the, the pre release of housing is here and we've all gotten to dive in and it's just everything that they said it was going to be. So yeah, I'm excited about stuff like this. I would imagine can be more tools like this popping up.

There's going to be a lot more add ons that are going to be showing up. But that is, that is the one question that I have.

If something like this could ever be made exportable so you could build your house outside of it, then you, you know, maybe, maybe it gives you, maybe it gives you a list of all the things that you need and you go out and get them and then just like a, just like a build, just like a class build, you can import it and then boom, there it is all done.

Jibbs

00:39:43.620 - 00:39:53.420

Oh, I mean that, that'd be awesome. And you're not kidding when you say the. There goes the productivity of anybody at work because it would.

No, I would no longer be as productive at work.

Kash

00:39:54.540 - 00:40:02.270

I know everybody's going to start like designing the their offices to make sure that their computer screen is facing away from where their boss walks in.

Jibbs

00:40:02.270 - 00:40:03.350

Yeah. Yeah.

Kash

00:40:03.430 - 00:40:06.870

So what you working on? Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it.

Jibbs

00:40:07.270 - 00:40:33.660

While you were talking I was trying to find the image. It may have been on Facebook.

I thought it was X Blizzard gave their employees for 2025 their Christmas gifts were a like a black with I think it was gold accents welcome home mug. And then they all got a like statue quality. It looks like a like almost like a bust.

But it's a fireplace from the housing and it's got all kinds of items all over it.

Kash

00:40:33.980 - 00:40:34.860

Oh wow.

Jibbs

00:40:34.860 - 00:40:43.020

It is. I'm going to have to send it to you off air if I can find it. It is. And then they got some other stuff too. It's phenomenal. I'm like they do it right.

Kash

00:40:43.100 - 00:40:54.447

They do it right. Yep. And they got a, they got a very large. Looks like a. It's pretty large. It's like almost life size but it's a cast of Xalatath's feet.

Xalatath

00:40:54.447 - 00:40:56.620

Oh, at least one of you Lot. Has figured out their priorities.

Jibbs

00:40:56.700 - 00:41:14.940

Oh, my gosh. Oh. So, yeah, I'm honestly really stoked to see where housing goes. I'm excited to watch it grow. I'm excited for the updates to come.

Like the outdoor lighting that coming.

Kash

00:41:16.200 - 00:41:16.400

Gosh.

Jibbs

00:41:16.400 - 00:41:20.960

What was another one undo. I believe that's coming, dude.

Kash

00:41:20.960 - 00:41:22.280

Endeavors. Hi.

Jibbs

00:41:22.280 - 00:41:39.720

Oh, yeah, man. I'm so stoked for endeavors. I am. So. I just. Yeah. I have a certain dream of what I want to see for us, ourselves, and our community when it comes to.

Comes to housing. And endeavors are a big part of it, for sure.

Kash

00:41:39.800 - 00:42:01.050

Yeah. Endeavors are going to be interesting, and maybe that would be something.

Maybe we should scour the interwebs about endeavors, and as that gets a little bit closer, you know, with full release, we will definitely talk about endeavors because there's not a ton of information on it out there, but I think it is a massive part of how you get your experience.

Jibbs

00:42:01.530 - 00:42:02.050

Yeah.

Kash

00:42:02.050 - 00:42:09.790

Different events. Doesn't matter. If you're in your neighborhood or somebody else's neighborhood, the events are going to be different.

Jibbs

00:42:10.110 - 00:42:10.590

Yeah.

Kash

00:42:11.070 - 00:42:45.200

On a ro. Some type of a rotating schedule. And you'll get a currency from completing things during those endeavors.

And you can spend that endeavor currency anywhere. Don't have to spend it on your vendors can spend it on. In other people's neighborhoods that have a different event going on.

Find other stuff, which I think is. Is huge. Another thing that I wanted to. I want to dip my toes into, bro, is you mentioned it earlier, fleshing out both the Horde and alliance.

Jibbs

00:42:45.440 - 00:42:45.920

Yeah.

Kash

00:42:46.160 - 00:42:47.360

Housing zones.

Jibbs

00:42:47.520 - 00:42:48.000

Yeah.

Kash

00:42:48.720 - 00:42:53.600

Where was your head at with that? I need to know.

Jibbs

00:42:53.600 - 00:43:04.860

Okay, so before I go into that check. Your. Check our chat here, because I sent you a picture of the actual blizzard. What they got for Christmas.

Well, let you open that up because it's glorious.

Kash

00:43:05.180 - 00:43:19.900

Oh, yeah. Xalatath toes. I was right. She needs a freaking mani. Patty. I'm just kidding. Now this is pretty cool, though. Yeah. It's like.

It's a small model of the hearth.

Jibbs

00:43:19.900 - 00:43:20.340

Yeah.

Kash

00:43:20.340 - 00:43:21.020

That you get.

Jibbs

00:43:21.100 - 00:43:21.660

Yep.

Kash

00:43:22.140 - 00:43:31.980

With some trinkets on it and a little. A little flame fire. And it's. They got a really cool mug. This says home sweet home, and it looks like a towel that says home sweet home.

Jibbs

00:43:31.980 - 00:43:33.100

I think it's a pillowcase.

Kash

00:43:33.660 - 00:43:47.900

A towel or. Yeah, that's pillowcase. Yeah, that. Okay. That's fleece. So unless you dry off. Maybe. Unless you dry off from your hot showers with fleece.

This is probably a pillowcase that says home sweet home.

Jibbs

00:43:48.220 - 00:43:48.700

Yeah.

Kash

00:43:48.700 - 00:43:52.140

Oh, and they got a puzzle, too. They got a Thousand puzzles.

Jibbs

00:43:52.140 - 00:43:53.260

One more time. Mike Tyson.

Kash

00:43:53.500 - 00:44:06.630

They got a thousand pizza puzzle, thousand piece puzzle of a hearth, which is just so cool. I hope they sell these commercially at some point. Yeah, these are really neat. Yeah, I doubt it, but.

Jibbs

00:44:06.710 - 00:44:59.800

Oh, I'm sure they'll do something. But they did. They do keep the Blizzard gifts. Definitely partial to special for the Blizzard employees, which is always cool. Yeah, definitely.

So you asked about Founder's Point. Flushing it out. Honestly, like, so I'm there every day. I think I've missed less than a handful of days.

I really try to like today I just know I won't be able to log in and do it. So that'll be another day I miss. But I try to always do the riddle every day.

Which has led me to some really unique finds of Founders Point, like hidden caves I didn't know existed underwater stuff that I didn't know existed. And I'm just like, this is so well done from a fleshed out standpoint.

Number one, there is a story that could totally be told here, like in the region of Founders Point and in the region of. Is it not Thundering Isle? What is the hordes. I'm so sorry.

Kash

00:44:59.800 - 00:45:01.200

Razor Wind. Is it Razor Wind?

Jibbs

00:45:01.200 - 00:45:10.360

Razor Wind. Yeah, I'm looking. Thank you. It's a beautiful old zone. It's just we're, we're on alliance so we, we never see it, but.

Kash

00:45:10.360 - 00:45:11.200

Razor Windshores.

Jibbs

00:45:11.200 - 00:45:45.300

Razor Windshores. There you go. It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. But they've done such great work on these areas. I'm like, man, there's.

You could totally add a couple delves in here.

You could totally like more ways than just the endeavors, you know, like as far as bringing people together there just feels like there's great opportunity there. And honestly it stems again, it stems from the world design.

Like they just did such a good job and it's just like there's, there's something here, man. Like you could really run with it if you wanted to.

Kash

00:45:45.380 - 00:45:52.500

Yeah. They could almost in a way make it its own thing, like kind of sim city it a little bit.

Jibbs

00:45:52.500 - 00:45:53.060

Oh yeah.

Kash

00:45:53.060 - 00:46:03.220

Make it like, hey, there's a weather event coming in. Oh, and there's a little quest that pop up and you gotta like, you gotta like go around town and help your neighbors batten down the hatches and.

Jibbs

00:46:03.380 - 00:46:04.100

Oh yeah.

Kash

00:46:04.980 - 00:46:37.180

How cool would that be to have like a series of quests in there. Even if they were weeklies, weekly quests around Razor Wind Shores and Founders Point that you could go around and, and help your neighbors.

Like, let's spread some neighborly cheer and you're cruising around just helping your neighbors out or, you know, I mean something as simple as one of your neighbors needs. Needs a cup of sugar. You bring him a cup of sugar and you help them cooking.

Jibbs

00:46:37.180 - 00:46:37.940

Yeah, dude.

Kash

00:46:38.100 - 00:46:42.740

Oh my gosh. I swear to God, I'm turning into an old man.

Jibbs

00:46:43.860 - 00:47:05.390

That happens. Happens to all of us. Well, I mean like, even if you go over the.

The Duskwood esque vibe, you know, in Founders Point, where it kind of turns to the like haunted esque vibe, like you've got NPCs walking around that are labeled as part of the watch, you know, like they're watching the roads. They're watching, you know, like. Well, why is that? You know what I mean? So it's just like cuz.

Kash

00:47:05.470 - 00:47:08.430

Yeah. Because people are stealing catalytic converters in that part of town.

Jibbs

00:47:11.150 - 00:47:15.790

Yeah. It's a good opportunity there, I think. And I think so too.

Kash

00:47:15.790 - 00:47:24.710

Where my head goes Delves Dungeon. Gosh, what else could they do, man? Just cool, cool events, weather events.

Jibbs

00:47:24.710 - 00:47:31.030

I think you nailed it. Yeah, like have a full on blizzard moon. You have your. You've done the Rathi Basin. When it's a blizzard. That.

Kash

00:47:31.110 - 00:47:31.590

Yeah.

Jibbs

00:47:31.830 - 00:47:40.070

I mean it's beautiful. That's the only reason I do it because I'm like, it's so beautiful and it's just like this. Yes, please.

Kash

00:47:41.030 - 00:47:57.120

Yeah, that, that would be cool. But definitely for them, for them to be able to flesh out the area that you live and allow you to. To help it out with more.

More quests and things that you could get 4xp exclusively for your housing.

Jibbs

00:47:57.200 - 00:47:57.600

Yeah.

Kash

00:47:57.600 - 00:47:58.360

Your housing truck.

Jibbs

00:47:58.360 - 00:47:58.640

Yeah.

Kash

00:47:58.640 - 00:48:12.040

Would be really, really cool. And it sounds like endeavors are gonna bring that, but we just don't know like what flavors. You know, it'd be cool to have like the dark.

You know, like a. A darkmoon fair cart coming through town or something.

Jibbs

00:48:12.040 - 00:48:13.560

Oh, I'm sure it will. Yeah.

Kash

00:48:13.560 - 00:48:18.320

Just neat stuff to make the. The world really, really fleshed out and feel more alive.

Jibbs

00:48:18.400 - 00:48:18.840

Yeah.

Kash

00:48:18.840 - 00:48:19.160

Cool.

Jibbs

00:48:19.160 - 00:48:28.260

Yeah. Yeah. I look forward to seeing where it sends us out because it's gonna send us out in the world to do stuff.

So I'm really, really interested to see what they do. But anyway, well, you ready for snark?

Kash

00:48:28.340 - 00:49:21.430

Let's do it. Snark online. No. Pooped it right into my hand. Into my hand this time. My hand this time, buddy.

Because all right, this was a very exclusive, privately produced snark that went right to me because you, my friend, are going to get tested. Okay, folks, he has no idea about this, and which is what makes it really fun for me. But anyway, our Snark segment for today is.

Rock Solid Lore or Total rubble? It's goblin, mate.

Jibbs

00:49:21.590 - 00:49:22.870

Oh, I was gonna say it sounds.

Kash

00:49:22.870 - 00:49:26.630

Like a monster truck mayhem. Sunday. Sunday.

Jibbs

00:49:26.790 - 00:49:27.190

Sunday.

Kash

00:49:27.990 - 00:49:51.440

No. So, anyway, this segment. Rock Solid Lore or Total Rubble? This is the War within edition.

Oh, wasn't gonna kill you with asking you questions about Lore for midnight, even though it's super appropriate with the pre patch coming in a couple of weeks. What I'm going to do is go through a series of questions about the Lore, and they're either they're true or false. I'm not going to like.

Jibbs

00:49:51.440 - 00:49:52.000

Okay.

Kash

00:49:52.080 - 00:50:11.700

Ask you to answer multiple choice questions or the dreaded fill in. No, none of those. You're going to get true or false. So you got a 50% shot of completely nailing this and looking like a Lore hero.

Build me up on episode 16.

Jibbs

00:50:11.860 - 00:50:12.820

Yep, keep going.

Kash

00:50:13.140 - 00:50:16.140

But you also have another 50% shot of shit in the bed.

Jibbs

00:50:16.140 - 00:50:18.580

All right, well, wait to bring me back down. All right, we're good.

Kash

00:50:18.660 - 00:50:22.980

Okay. You're welcome. Here we go, bud. Okay, question number one. True or false?

Jibbs

00:50:22.980 - 00:50:23.540

Okay.

Kash

00:50:23.700 - 00:50:31.940

The War within is the first expansion where the primary threat is psychological rather than purely physical.

Jibbs

00:50:32.660 - 00:50:34.500

That is true.

Kash

00:50:35.380 - 00:51:08.680

Absolute true. And here's your Lore reality check.

So, there are definitely very real enemies in the War within, but the expansion's core conflict centers around doubt, fear, memory and identity. The Nerubians, the Earthen, and even the Titanic Legacy all reflect inner fractures becoming external dangers.

The war is literally underfoot and metaphorically under the skin. Well done, sir.

Jibbs

00:51:08.680 - 00:51:11.360

Okay. All right, good. One for one, Batt. A thousand.

Kash

00:51:11.360 - 00:51:14.560

One for one. All right, so remember how many you get. Right.

Jibbs

00:51:14.880 - 00:51:15.440

Okay.

Kash

00:51:16.320 - 00:51:18.240

Okay, question number two.

Jibbs

00:51:18.400 - 00:51:18.960

Hit me.

Kash

00:51:19.040 - 00:51:24.800

Xal' Atath is revealed to be working directly for the Titans in the War Within.

Jibbs

00:51:24.880 - 00:51:25.440

False.

Kash

00:51:26.320 - 00:51:30.530

Very good, sir. Xalatath works for nobody but herself.

Jibbs

00:51:30.770 - 00:51:31.210

That's right.

Kash

00:51:31.210 - 00:51:54.680

Which is somehow much worse. She had a tendency to exploit Titan structures. She knew a lot about the Void and a ton about mortal weakness.

And the War within really does a good job at clarifying that. Alignment is a tool to her, not loyalty. If she says she's helping, beware.

Jibbs

00:51:54.760 - 00:51:55.320

Mm.

Kash

00:51:56.120 - 00:51:59.880

She's probably trying to dig her toes into something else.

Jibbs

00:51:59.880 - 00:52:13.880

Dude, is it weird that, like, I'm for her? Like, I. I would be fine? Like, if they offered, like, you can choose a path?

Like, if I could choose a path to, like, serve Xalatath, I'd be cool with it? Is that bad?

Kash

00:52:14.360 - 00:52:18.320

You're cringing well, yeah. I mean, you're in defeat, so there's that.

Jibbs

00:52:18.320 - 00:52:19.480

Well, I mean, they do float.

Goblins

00:52:19.970 - 00:52:20.530

Yikes.

Kash

00:52:22.530 - 00:52:26.050

You know. You know what? Like, it. It brings me back to Dragonflight.

Jibbs

00:52:26.130 - 00:52:26.570

Yeah.

Kash

00:52:26.570 - 00:52:36.850

Because remember in Dragonflight when you kind of had to pick one of the aspects. Do you remember? I know you do. You had to pick one of the two dragons to support.

Jibbs

00:52:37.330 - 00:52:37.810

Oh.

Kash

00:52:39.650 - 00:52:42.610

Remember? Wow. Remember Rathian?

Jibbs

00:52:42.770 - 00:52:43.570

Yeah, I remember.

Kash

00:52:44.210 - 00:52:46.290

Freaking annoying Wrathian.

Jibbs

00:52:46.370 - 00:52:47.310

Oh, my gosh. Dude.

Kash

00:52:47.380 - 00:52:50.100

Dude, I never picked Rathian.

Jibbs

00:52:50.740 - 00:52:51.140

Yeah.

Kash

00:52:51.140 - 00:52:52.620

I always went the other direction.

Jibbs

00:52:52.620 - 00:52:52.980

Same.

Kash

00:52:52.980 - 00:52:54.860

Because he was so annoying.

Jibbs

00:52:54.860 - 00:52:55.220

Yeah.

Kash

00:52:55.220 - 00:52:57.540

It's like, dude, you are so full of yourself.

Jibbs

00:52:57.620 - 00:53:00.820

Yeah. Yeah. So, Rathian. I. Yeah.

Kash

00:53:00.900 - 00:53:05.540

But, yeah, I kind of see what you're saying about Zaltan. She's. Well, at least her aspect.

Jibbs

00:53:05.620 - 00:53:06.340

I admire her.

Kash

00:53:06.340 - 00:53:07.620

What she manifests as.

Jibbs

00:53:07.940 - 00:53:08.420

Yeah.

Kash

00:53:08.420 - 00:53:12.420

Is. Which she did on purpose. She's. She's very attractive.

Jibbs

00:53:13.470 - 00:53:13.870

Yeah.

Kash

00:53:14.110 - 00:53:27.070

So, anyway. Okay, question three. The Nerubians in the War within are portrayed as victims of Titan experimentation rather than purely monstrous enemies.

Jibbs

00:53:27.710 - 00:53:28.270

False.

Kash

00:53:32.910 - 00:54:15.360

I am sorry, my friend. That is your first incorrect answer. It's actually true.

In the expansion, the Nerubians are narratively rehabilitated, and their transformation is tied directly to Titan interference and forced evolution, reframing them as people shaped by unwanted order. Were they monstrous? Yes. Were they wronged? Very much, yes. Not as bad as you thought. The Nerubians. Okay, okay, question number four. 4.

The earthen discovered Khaz' Algar and are fully aware that they were once living beings transformed by the Titans.

Jibbs

00:54:15.840 - 00:54:18.560

I'm gonna say true just because of the last part.

Kash

00:54:20.720 - 00:54:24.800

Oh, I'm sorry, buddy. That one is a false.

Jibbs

00:54:24.800 - 00:54:28.640

Really? Oh, I thought that. Okay, all right, all right, that's fair.

Kash

00:54:29.120 - 00:54:57.010

So the Earthen. Many Earthen believed that. That they were always stone and purpose. Right.

But that same slow, painful realization that they may have been something else is also part of the existential horror that the War within leans into. Order brought clarity, but it also erased their memories. So, yes, that one is false.

Jibbs

00:54:57.490 - 00:55:13.660

Yeah. You know what's funny? I didn't really pick up on that too. Too much. But I will say this, like. And we're totally gonna do, like, a.

Before midnight comes out, a full review. More on that later. Of the War within as an expansion, but I'll admit, I did not pick up on that.

Kash

00:55:13.660 - 00:55:22.780

When are we gonna do that? Like, next week, the week after? Because the week after is gonna be a little busy. We got time.

Jibbs

00:55:22.780 - 00:55:23.820

Everything's fine.

Kash

00:55:24.700 - 00:55:36.520

It's fine. It's fine. Okay. Yeah. Some of these are. Some of these are Humdingers. Yeah, these are so. But this next one's easy. Okay, so we'll give you this one.

Jibbs

00:55:36.520 - 00:55:37.240

What colors outside?

Kash

00:55:37.720 - 00:55:38.480

Complete attention.

Jibbs

00:55:38.480 - 00:55:39.440

Okay. Ready?

Kash

00:55:39.440 - 00:55:40.440

Quit picking your feet.

Jibbs

00:55:40.520 - 00:55:41.200

Picking my feet?

Kash

00:55:41.200 - 00:55:59.480

Something about feet in this episode. Oh, okay. Here we go. The expansion suggests that the Titans version of Order may not be morally superior to Chaos or Void.

This is something that we talked about earlier. Are the Titans really good?

Jibbs

00:55:59.720 - 00:56:01.160

Can you ask that one more time?

Kash

00:56:01.400 - 00:56:09.919

Yep. The expansion suggests that the Titans version of Order may not be morally superior to Chaos or Void.

Jibbs

00:56:09.919 - 00:56:12.200

Oh, that's true. That's 100% true.

Kash

00:56:12.920 - 00:56:26.050

Very good. You are correct, sir. Ding ding, ding. One of the War Within's boldest move is that the Titans are kind of no longer represented as benevolent.

Jibbs

00:56:26.050 - 00:56:26.610

Nope.

Kash

00:56:26.850 - 00:56:31.890

And this authoritarian cosmic order.

Jibbs

00:56:32.370 - 00:56:33.730

Yeah, right. Yeah.

Kash

00:56:33.970 - 00:57:03.190

It's. It may be the first time where we start to question who the Titans are and what their true intentions are.

Now I'm not wholly saying that I believe they are evil, but it's very. It's very one sided in that they believe order creates stability, but it could also be at the cost of autonomy and history and at times consent.

Jibbs

00:57:03.670 - 00:57:11.370

Yeah, I could see that. Especially after the lore lesson that folks heard today on Amanthule and even yours. You know, you.

Kash

00:57:11.440 - 00:57:11.720

Yeah.

Jibbs

00:57:11.720 - 00:57:26.000

Order. That's a very. That's a. That was early on. Early on for Aman Thule was in his mind how man should.

You know, how creation should be ordered or should be ruled. And it's through order.

Kash

00:57:26.480 - 00:57:27.759

Yeah. Doesn't make it right.

Jibbs

00:57:27.760 - 00:57:28.320

Nope.

Kash

00:57:28.320 - 00:57:40.990

Doesn't make it right. Just the way that it was. Next one. Players learn in the War within that Azeroth itself is actively resisting Titan and influence beneath the surface.

Jibbs

00:57:41.150 - 00:57:41.630

True.

Kash

00:57:43.630 - 00:57:45.110

Oh, buddy, I'm so sorry.

Jibbs

00:57:45.110 - 00:58:26.610

Oh, so sorry. What confused me was the. The blood. The. The. The. The black blood. And that was kind of part of the.

I don't want to spoil it because we have a lot of listeners who are literally just playing War within now. Getting caught up. They better hurry. There's. There's. There's a quest running out. There's a quest line that you could tell very much was.

Was going to be a very much a. A lore point for. For the War Within. And you could tell that's kind of where they steered away from that with the addition of Metzen and the.

The whole saga. So like that's where I. My head totally went with that. But anyway, continue.

Kash

00:58:26.770 - 00:59:22.280

Yeah, so this one. This one actually you got to put your thinking cap on a little bit about this one and think about some of the storylines and in the war within.

But there is certainly tension there with what Azeroth is going through. But she is not actively rebelling at the time because when she wants to, she can, she can reach out.

The world soul of Azeroth is powerful, very powerful. She can reach out when she wants to. So she's got some turmoil going on in there.

But I think a lot of what the tension, the overall tension of the storyline comes from is that the different sides are kind of interpreting Azeroth being silent as two different things. One is thinking she could be pissed and the other side could be thinking that she's just. She's not there yet.

Jibbs

00:59:22.760 - 00:59:25.590

So you want to know my theory for Last Titan?

Kash

00:59:26.060 - 00:59:26.380

Yes.

Jibbs

00:59:26.700 - 00:59:34.620

I think Azeroth is going to be the only remaining Titan. I think everyone's going to die or something drastic is going to happen and the last Titan is Azeroth.

Kash

00:59:34.780 - 00:59:46.340

I think it makes a lot of sense given the title and given the fact that that is the ultimate goal of the Titans is to search the cosmos for viable world souls.

Jibbs

00:59:46.340 - 00:59:46.860

Yeah.

Kash

00:59:47.100 - 00:59:55.810

And if Azeroth is the last world soul, does she convert into an actual Titan?

Jibbs

00:59:55.970 - 01:00:15.090

And the other thing is that if you go back and read those old school lore books, it talks about that they. I believe the verbiage goes something like this, that they, the power that emanated from Azeroth itself was far.

Would not only rival Sargeras, but be possibly even more powerful than him.

Kash

01:00:15.330 - 01:00:17.010

I could see that I have to.

Jibbs

01:00:17.010 - 01:00:19.730

Go back and read to confirm, but I believe that was part of the verbiage.

Kash

01:00:19.730 - 01:00:31.410

Yeah. And folks, take all this with a grain of salt with. With jibs and I, because we, again, we are learning this lore with you.

We are definitely not lore experts.

Jibbs

01:00:31.490 - 01:00:31.890

No.

Kash

01:00:32.290 - 01:00:52.650

In when it comes to Azeroth and we're learning. So this is all part of it. Okay, so number seven, this one you'll probably get.

Anduin's story line in the War within focuses less on his redemption and more on reconciliation with his own fear.

Jibbs

01:00:53.130 - 01:00:53.690

True.

Kash

01:00:54.730 - 01:01:31.010

Very good, sir. Very good. So less of a heroic comeback tour and more of Anduin treating his trauma as something that he's trying to carry and not conquer.

He's not trying to be forgiven. He's not. Certainly not trying to be crowned and get back to, you know, his duties. And he's not trying to be absolved.

He's just trying to learn how to deal with being in prison, which can be treacherous for a minute.

Jibbs

01:01:33.810 - 01:01:41.660

Yes, very much so. Do you know the. What's her name that has the shield for her arm.

Kash

01:01:41.660 - 01:01:43.220

Oh, man, Put me on the spot.

Jibbs

01:01:43.220 - 01:01:43.580

I know.

Kash

01:01:43.580 - 01:01:44.780

Such a fantastic prior.

Jibbs

01:01:44.780 - 01:02:04.570

She's from the Priory Hollow Fall. They did a whole short story on her. We both have the book of it. I just can't recall her name off the top of my head. This is why I say that, though.

I think she's going to marry Anduin. I think Anduin is going to finally marry, and I think she'll be the queen. Wow.

Kash

01:02:05.130 - 01:02:06.810

That would be fantastic.

Jibbs

01:02:07.050 - 01:02:15.850

That's what I think is gonna happen. She brought. Wow, man. I don't want to say too much, but, yeah, she did a lot for Anduin. And I could totally see.

Kash

01:02:15.850 - 01:02:18.410

Well, she was a. She was a badass, dude.

Jibbs

01:02:18.410 - 01:02:32.760

She's awesome. And folks, what's that book that we have? I don't. It's Sitting Upstairs.

I don't remember the title, but it's basically all the short stories for the War within. And she is very much a part of it. And her story. Story is beautiful. It's awesome.

Kash

01:02:32.920 - 01:02:43.680

Yes, it is. And I'm currently locked in on finding her name because I'm, like, super embarrassed that we don't know that. Majni Bronze Bard.

Jibbs

01:02:43.680 - 01:02:46.520

Yep, that's the one. Nailed it. First try. Well done.

Kash

01:02:47.240 - 01:02:48.440

Fair and Lothar.

Jibbs

01:02:48.440 - 01:02:50.200

Fair and Lothar. That's right. Fair and Lothar.

Kash

01:02:50.200 - 01:03:05.370

Yep, that's her name. And yeah, that's why it's word dumb, because we know that it's because her last name is Lothar. Hello. So lots of ties to Arathi there.

All right, let's keep chugging along. You're doing good, buddy. Kind of. You're getting an F so far. Oh, we're good.

Jibbs

01:03:05.370 - 01:03:06.050

Fantastic.

Kash

01:03:06.370 - 01:03:16.450

Okay. The Harbinger's role in the War within is primarily military, acting as a general of invading forces.

Jibbs

01:03:16.610 - 01:03:17.250

False.

Kash

01:03:18.050 - 01:03:47.510

Very good, sir. Very good. She is a manipulator is what she is. So she works off of pressure and she works off of manipulation, for sure. She does not.

She requires others to do the battlefield command stuff. It's not her. So they. She kind of sets conditions to where war becomes unavoidable, and then she just, like, steps back, says, that's on you.

Your fault, not mine. Yeah, okay.

Jibbs

01:03:47.510 - 01:03:47.870

What?

Kash

01:03:47.950 - 01:03:49.310

Go ahead. Yeah, no, go ahead.

Jibbs

01:03:49.390 - 01:03:55.950

Yeah.

I was just gonna say you've got to definitely read Blood Ties and we can review it here on the show because there's so much story there that you're talking about.

Kash

01:03:56.670 - 01:03:57.190

Okay.

Jibbs

01:03:57.190 - 01:03:58.070

It's like holding a fart.

Kash

01:03:58.070 - 01:04:00.110

Well, I've started, but.

Jibbs

01:04:00.270 - 01:04:04.710

Oh, have you had a busy week? More than the four you have to read more than the forward, though, for it to count.

Kash

01:04:04.710 - 01:04:34.920

Oh, crap. Okay, all right, I promise I will read it before midnight launches. Okay, here we go.

So khaz' Algar definitely has more freaking OSHA violations than any other zone in all of World of Warcraft, so keep that in mind. Here's your question.

The subterranean zones of Khaz Algar are meant to feel intentionally claustrophobic and oppressive to reinforce the expansion's themes.

Jibbs

01:04:35.480 - 01:04:36.040

Agreed.

Kash

01:04:36.040 - 01:05:34.160

True, for sure. Hundred percent. And this takes us out of the story and into actual level design and how it serves the narrative of the War Within.

So when you think about it, there's a lot of tight spaces, there's a lot of low ceilings, there's a lot of buried ruins. So it's almost like the developers wanted you to. To feel compressed and weighed down.

Like, you're not meant to feel like this superhero when you're underground. It. It's at times, it's large, but the problems, the cascading issues that are going on everywhere at any time, you have a billion problems to solve.

That, along with the. With the zone design, makes you feel small. Am I off base there?

Jibbs

01:05:35.040 - 01:05:54.160

No, I think you nailed it. I mean, because I felt. I felt the same way.

Like when I am the other day when I'm entering Hollowfall to go farm some Dornic lumber and I'm looking around at just how massive the inside. Like, granted, you know, it does feel compressed, it does feel that, but I also get the vibe of I am a wee little lad in a large land.

Kash

01:05:54.720 - 01:06:11.570

Yeah, 100%. And by the way, like, right in Dornagal, they have a pretty big trip and fall hazard that is yet to be fixed.

Like, you would think they might want to get on that because it's a.

Jibbs

01:06:11.570 - 01:06:32.690

Long way down, you know, something I've always wanted to do in my head.

It's just like if an NPC's entire job for the entire existence of this game, one of those is like scooping pooping poop or whatever it is, doing a bit on that thing. Like, they've been. They've been trying to refill that giant hole in Kaz Algar. Now, fast forward 10 years. For 10 years, still no progress.

Kash

01:06:33.170 - 01:06:34.130

And no elevator.

Jibbs

01:06:35.010 - 01:06:35.810

No elevator.

Kash

01:06:37.090 - 01:06:49.410

All right, buddy, last question. Last question. I'll let you off the hook. You're doing good, though.

The War within confirms that the greatest danger to Azeroth may be certainty rather than corruption.

Jibbs

01:06:49.730 - 01:06:51.730

That's a tough one. I'm just gonna go out on a.

Kash

01:06:51.730 - 01:06:58.770

Limb and say true well, that limb is stable and sturdy, sir, because you got that one correct.

Jibbs

01:06:59.730 - 01:07:00.250

Sweet.

Kash

01:07:00.250 - 01:07:40.960

So again, the War within confirms the greatest danger to Azeroth may not be or may be certainty rather than corruption.

So when you look at the expansion, it continuously portrays to you that certainty, especially when backed up with the history and the cosmic power, the Titans and all that stuff, it flattens choice. Completely flattens choice.

And some of the worst characters, I wouldn't say worse, I'd probably say some of the most dangerous characters are the ones who never really do any self reflection. They're just out for what they're out for.

Jibbs

01:07:42.020 - 01:07:42.420

Yeah.

Kash

01:07:42.580 - 01:08:39.710

You know, and you look at, you look at Ellaria, right, and what she was going through and you. I mean, she obviously was getting infiltrated in her mind and it was really jacking her up. But. Right.

She forgot everything else, including her own children. She's just like, ah, sorry, I'm out. I got. I have to deal with this.

And she goes, now, was it for the greater good or was that more of a personal thing? Yeah, but I, like, I, I really enjoyed the, the characters in the War within as an expansion.

As a whole, I think the character development was pretty solid in learning what they were going through and their motivations.

And you look at, you know, just when you're going through the Hollow Fall portion and you're dealing with all the things that Anduin was having to deal with, you know, it's.

Jibbs

01:08:39.710 - 01:08:40.110

Yeah.

Kash

01:08:40.190 - 01:08:42.190

Heavier tones there, man. A ton.

Jibbs

01:08:42.270 - 01:09:27.160

Yeah, I'll.

I'll agree and also disagree at the same time because, like, let me rephrase it, I guess for the ones that they chose to really develop, like, to really invest in them, to be present, like, because Thrall wasn't there at all, like, and he was in the. The title of the overall, you know, like, expansion. But like, they chose not to focus on him.

So on the ones they chose to focus on, like what you're saying, agree. Right. Like, Anduin has. Anduin is. Well, he's definitely, I wouldn't say come full circle, but he's definitely mending, you know, he's healing now.

And that was, that was kind of cool to see, to be honest with you. He dealt with a lot of real life things that are very. That people can relate to, you know, especially these days. And so like, yeah, trauma.

Kash

01:09:27.240 - 01:09:48.160

Yeah, yeah, rock solid real to him. Trauma. And like there were parts of it where we were.

I was going through the storyline with him and like you're in these pivotal moments where you know that he can make a difference if he would just reach out and make that connection to the light. Right?

Jibbs

01:09:48.160 - 01:09:49.160

Yeah. Yeah.

Kash

01:09:49.160 - 01:10:41.960

But he either refused or couldn't do it. And there were so many times that I wanted to get a running start and just kick him in his keister.

Dude, if there's any time that you need to do this, it's right effing now. Just kick it into gear.

But really brings to light the trauma that he experienced and like, it changes people, changes the whole person when they go through life changing trauma, you know, so it's again, it's, it's that real world parallel with things that people are going through and you know, you know, look at how hard the, the, the teaser video for Midnight got you. Just boom. It's just, it's instant personal connection.

Jibbs

01:10:42.780 - 01:10:43.180

Yep.

Kash

01:10:43.260 - 01:11:07.260

And not to tangent off, but like they've, they've done it before and they've done it very well. But these are feet, these newer ones that are starting to come out since Metzen came back feel so much more personal.

And I'm, I'm just looking, I'm really, really looking forward to Midnight and, and the last Titan with him at the reigns.

Jibbs

01:11:07.260 - 01:11:21.130

Yeah. Yep, definitely it's, it's gonna be a good time. And we're coming up on it. Yep, we are definitely coming up on it.

Folks, we're gonna take a quick commercial break. We'll be right back. Close out the show.

Shiffty Commercial

01:11:22.810 - 01:12:45.140

All right. Hey, shifty here. I'm on a union break and union rules say I get five minutes, so listen close.

If you're short on time this week and you're one of those filthy casuals, don't stress about finishing everything in one sitting. Most weekly progress in World of Warcraft saves per character, not possession.

That means you can knock out one world quest, one dungeon, or one event, log off, come back later without losing anything. The trick, set a single goal before you log in. One task, do that, log out, feel accomplished.

Look, the midnight pre patch is coming on January 20th and there's a metric scrap ton of new features.

You got new specializations, race options, combat and talent updates, a cleaner ui, expanded Transmog tools, early housing, and fresh PVP training features. It's all on the way. Remember, there's no rush to do it all at once. These systems are coming to support, support you over time.

So take it slow and enjoy what matters to you most. You don't need to clear the whole board today. Azeroth will still be here tomorrow. Hey, and if anyone asks, you didn't hear this from me.

Yeah, my break's over before those two buffoons catch me stretching the clock.
