And good Tuesday morning, everybody. Welcome. This is Azeroth Morning AMR Late Watch. Hail, traveler. Anyway, welcome, everybody. This is our very first live show.
It took us 35 minutes to get everything figured out, but I think we're good. You think? This is our first time streaming, but anyway, we'll get to more of that. Just a second. We are your hosts.
My name is Jibs, and I'm joined by Cash.
Kash
00:01:16.840 - 00:01:21.240
This would be a really good time to insert a goblin voice thing. Bunch of amateurs.
Goblins
00:01:22.040 - 00:01:26.600
Yeah, you did it for me. Nerds.
Kash
00:01:29.000 - 00:01:55.830
You know, bro, the funny thing is, the.
The funny thing is, is that, like, I'm not going to call us, like, super experienced, like, professional streamers, but we've done our share of streaming, and we have always had little problems. These problems tonight were big problems. Big goblins chewing on wires happened to us tonight, and it's hilarious. Kind of.
Jibbs
00:01:57.290 - 00:02:40.929
It's. That's one way to put it. But the people are here. They have joined us and they refuse to leave. I'm. I'm shocked they stayed, to be honest.
I thought for sure they'd be like, yeah, it's not happening, and just leave. But, no, they. They stuck it out. They stuck it out through all the problems. So, yeah, we are doing this live on Twitch.
This is a different kind of episode, a different kind of vibe today when it comes to Late Watch. And we're. And Cash will describe that to you in just a second. But. So it's going to feel a little different. Things are going to be a little different.
But we wanted to give you content this week because we didn't want you to go without. It's Christmas week that we're recording this on. However, we wanted to make sure that you still got your. Your weekly dose of amr.
Cash, tell them a little bit about Late Watch, what it is.
Kash
00:02:41.810 - 00:04:32.920
Yeah. So usually when we have holidays roll around, you know, Jibs and I are family men, so we have.
We have a lot of responsibilities and stuff going on throughout the week. Family coming in, meals to be prepared, gifts to be wrapped and all that stuff.
So, like he was saying, we usually would take a break for the holiday and then come back, you know, hard and heavy. But this week, since we're still relatively new. What. This is episode 14. We wanted to keep the momentum rolling and give you a show this week.
So we decided to. This was already in our plan. We were already going to do a live show of some type of. So this show is called Late Watch, still Azeroth morning radio.
It's just Late Watch. So just think you're watching like the Late show at night.
And the way that this show is going to be different is the format's going to be a little bit different. We're not going to do any commercials. This is us. This is going to be us talking. This is going to be us jibber jabbing with the people that are here.
Thank you very much for being here and we wanted it to be special for you. So the caveat is that we're doing a live recording now, but when this releases on 29th December, this will be the show.
It's just going to be the edited version of our audio from tonight. So we're going to add in, you know, our intro and voices and stuff like that. We're going to get those things added in, in post.
But you can expect more of Late Watch coming for, you know, in the, in the months that are going to follow because despite the issues that we had this evening, we're up and running. And this is going to be, I think, a super fun little sideshow for us to do where it's a little more candid.
Obviously our faces are on screen so you guys can, you know, throw tomatoes at us and such.
Jibbs
00:04:33.640 - 00:04:41.970
I'm scared to death to touch anything over here on this. I'm just, I'm looking at this just thinking like it's a nuclear bomb just waiting to go.
Kash
00:04:42.930 - 00:04:45.850
Well then treat it as such and don't touch a freaking thing.
Jibbs
00:04:45.850 - 00:05:19.990
I'm just gonna look at it from afar, say everything's A. Okay, everything's A. Okay. But yeah, so this is, this is fun. And it's definitely much more of a like cozy, chill vibe. You know, like Cash said.
He said everything, you know, that I could possibly say. But I just want to say that it's very much more of just kind of like a one on one with us.
And we're gonna have like, he talked about, you know, a Q A and all kinds of other fun things, but dagnabbit, they want to hear the show. So tell me, my good buddy, best good buddy, best good friend, bald compatriot, what'd you do in Warcraft this week?
Kash
00:05:22.230 - 00:06:06.260
Well, unfortunately this week I had much less game time, but I still made some strides. I would, I would say there's probably a couple of days. See, so the. The. Here's the weird part.
I work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year, so I. We had to celebrate before. So the last two days from right now, this recording day was our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So I pretty much got.
I got in to do a couple dailies. I killed the Grinch once on each of those days and I did my housing daily. And that was it.
Like, that was all the time that I had over the last couple of days to play.
Jibbs
00:06:06.260 - 00:06:06.820
Yeah.
Kash
00:06:06.820 - 00:06:14.420
But I still was able to get in last week quite a bit. And dude, I got my Merry Maker title this year.
Jibbs
00:06:14.820 - 00:06:16.100
That's awesome, man.
Kash
00:06:16.420 - 00:06:17.140
Great success.
Jibbs
00:06:17.220 - 00:06:17.940
Great success.
Kash
00:06:18.980 - 00:07:24.180
And it's funny because when you look through.
If you guys are achievement hunters, you're looking through those achievements and you come to very quickly realize that unless you neck beard the game for almost the entire time that the Feast of Winter Veil is live. This is a labor of love and it's something that you're going to do over several years. When I was.
I was looking at all my achievements, like I had some achievements back from like 2020 and then 2021, 2022 during. Well, that was all during COVID So yeah, there's a lot more play time back then. But I finally finished off my last one.
And I will never forget this visual. The last one was the one where you have to get snowflakes and then you gotta throw them on different race and class combinations.
And some of those races and classes are of the opposite faction. So I was hunting for hours and hours and hours for an Orc shaman. And where did I. I went everywhere.
Jibbs
00:07:24.180 - 00:07:25.300
I went to Orgrimmar.
Kash
00:07:25.300 - 00:08:30.330
I went to. I was everywhere. I was in the starting areas over in. In the Horde areas looking for. By the way, they are decimated. Decim.
There's no players in the starting zones for either Thunderbluff or Orgrimmar. Like, they're gone really. So I finally found him. I ended up finding him in Dornagal.
And I'll never forget, when I pan my camera around, I saw something out of the corner. My. I pan my camera around in the PvP area of Dornagol and there is the sun shining behind him. And I see this silhouette of. Actually, I lied.
I'm sorry. It's a Tauren shaman. And I see the horns on this dude silhouetted in the sunlight. And I was like, tell me that's a shaman. And I moused over him.
Lo and behold, it was a shaman. So I freaking ran up before the guy logged out and threw my snowflakes on him and got the achievement. Got my merry maker title.
So that was probably my biggest highlight. It was a really cool moment.
Jibbs
00:08:30.490 - 00:08:39.850
That's awesome. That's awesome. I can't move forward because chat right now is demanding an insult. They're insulted that I didn't insult you.
Kash
00:08:41.359 - 00:08:42.879
Oh, we'll get after it then, pal.
Jibbs
00:08:42.879 - 00:08:43.279
Okay.
Kash
00:08:43.279 - 00:08:44.399
This is how good you are.
Jibbs
00:08:44.399 - 00:08:50.799
Live well. This isn't from me. This is from sin34 in chat. Says 2021 Snowflake of the year. His name is Cash.
Kash
00:08:51.919 - 00:08:54.319
That. That was your insult from last week.
Jibbs
00:08:54.719 - 00:08:58.959
No, it wasn't. I said no it would. No, it wasn't.
Kash
00:08:59.199 - 00:09:01.919
Oh, don't make me listen to it on Spotify. Right.
Jibbs
00:09:01.919 - 00:09:15.040
This I want do it. I will call. I'll bet you five girly giggles. That is not at all what was said. If you figure that out, I'll tell you what I'm.
What I did in Warcraft this week.
Kash
00:09:15.360 - 00:09:22.080
I'm pretty no worst gas and said it was a worst gift giver. I thought you. I thought you called me a snowflake at some point.
Jibbs
00:09:22.400 - 00:09:23.760
I maybe in luck.
Kash
00:09:26.640 - 00:09:27.840
No, I thought you did.
Jibbs
00:09:27.840 - 00:09:38.130
I may. I probably did. But they. They got their insult. Yeah. That's awesome that you got Merrymaker, man. I love it. Voice in your head.
Kash
00:09:40.210 - 00:09:43.410
Move forward without any retort. That's fine.
Jibbs
00:09:43.490 - 00:09:45.090
That's fine. Everything's fine.
Kash
00:09:45.570 - 00:09:46.130
Noted.
Jibbs
00:09:46.210 - 00:10:47.180
Noted. Yeah, it. That was really cool that you got that. I'll admit. I did.
I've done the event a couple days, two or three days, and I've really been so focused on getting in the game and man, I wanted those five girly giggles. Chat said I've wanted to focus on getting in game and I've.
I have tasked myself with going through every dungeon that gives you a decor drop and attaining at least one of those drops. And I started in Eastern kingdoms. Got everything. I think. No, I have to go do return to Karazhan then I'll have that wrapped up, I think.
But got everything in Dragonflight, I think and several other places as well. And it's just been a blast, to be honest. I'm still trying to get the trellis from Priory. I can't get that thing.
I can't get a good roll on that to save my life. It just doesn't give it to me.
Kash
00:10:47.900 - 00:10:52.540
It's. It's dropping. It dropped last night and you didn't get the roll.
Jibbs
00:10:52.770 - 00:10:53.090
Mm.
Kash
00:10:53.090 - 00:10:59.890
We also figured out what were you. What were you trying to give me? I think you were trying to get me the. The tower from Mechagon.
Jibbs
00:10:59.890 - 00:11:01.450
I was so angry that you didn't.
Kash
00:11:01.450 - 00:11:02.770
That electric Tower.
Jibbs
00:11:02.770 - 00:11:03.250
Yeah.
Kash
00:11:04.130 - 00:11:10.930
So. So the electric Tower drops, and I thought that's why you didn't. You pass on it.
Jibbs
00:11:11.250 - 00:11:16.450
I did, because I wanted to give it to you because now I know how to attain it, and it's no problem. But you.
Kash
00:11:16.610 - 00:11:42.850
He passes on it. But we're in there. This is. Okay. This is. This is the brotherly love. Okay.
I go in there to help him get drops, and he passes on it because he wants me to have it, but we went for him so he could get it. Like, no, dude, I'm. I'm not going to. I'm not going to do this. So I pass on it. And then he was able to loot it. I was like, how sweet is that?
What a good dude. But I'm glad that you.
Jibbs
00:11:42.850 - 00:12:19.190
This is our life. Yeah. What? Yeah. So it's been fun, to be honest. It's all about decor. Honestly, for me, it's either decor, role play, or work in the markets, man.
That's what's been the last probably three weeks now and continues to be, especially as we, you know, we're not really gonna talk about this episode, but we found out when the pre patch is coming. You know, like, that's coming in, I believe, January. So, like, even leading up to that, like, it's just. And I'm having a blast. Like, it's amazing.
It's so much fun. It's so cozy and chill. And I think a lot of people in chat can relate here to a whole lot of cozy and chill. But, yeah, it's a good time.
Kash
00:12:20.550 - 00:12:22.950
And it looks like January 20th.
Jibbs
00:12:22.950 - 00:12:23.830
January 20th.
Kash
00:12:23.830 - 00:12:25.390
Tuesday, January 20th.
Jibbs
00:12:25.390 - 00:12:29.430
All right, well, we'll definitely cover that coming out. Yeah, we'll cover that on episode 15 for sure.
Kash
00:12:31.030 - 00:12:33.670
Yeah. It's funny that you mentioned the markets, though.
Jibbs
00:12:34.150 - 00:12:37.950
Yeah. Because, dude, tell them about you. Tell them how well you're doing.
Kash
00:12:37.950 - 00:12:52.730
Yeah, I wasn't super interested because I tried to throw a few things up on the market, and then all of a sudd. I would get outbid, like, quickly. Not outbid, but somebody would undercut me, like, really quick. And I just went, nope, not doing that anymore.
Jibbs
00:12:52.730 - 00:12:52.970
I'm.
Kash
00:12:52.970 - 00:13:09.650
I'm over it. All these people are. Are just. They're putting different bids in for, like, way less. And it just. It kills the market.
But I ended up on a run this morning, so I think I kind of figured out timing a little bit when it's not prime time.
Jibbs
00:13:10.050 - 00:13:10.610
Yeah.
Kash
00:13:10.770 - 00:14:32.610
And you put Your items up, you have a way better chance of selling them right away. It's in the evenings when it's prime time and a lot people are playing. You're going to get undercut immediately. And this is for.
For housing items specifically that we've been putting up. So here's. Here's a little tip, and I'm not sure if everybody knows this, and I don't think I'm super smart for knowing this.
It just like, we kind of just figured it out.
But when you're putting something in the market, if you go with the recommended price, which is typically, like the going rate for something for that particular item, you, go to the top of the list. So if somebody buys it for that lowest price and you were the last person to put that in to list it, it's going to you.
So it's all based on, like, the latest. The latest person that put the bid in. But what people are doing instead is they're just. They're just undercutting your price by, like, 3, 400 gold.
And it's like they're just hurting themselves when they do that. So anyway, I've been doing a lot of buying all of the items to try and reset, you know, kind of reset the market back to where it should be.
And that really hasn't worked out too well. So I think there's a little bit of a waste of gold right there.
But anyway, I had a really good run, and I think over the last probably three, four days, I made about a hundred. Hundred thousand gold.
Jibbs
00:14:34.210 - 00:14:35.010
Oh, boy.
Kash
00:14:35.170 - 00:14:51.720
Yeah, baby. It was pretty much everything that I spent on housing. I've already made it back by just by a little bit of work.
Yeah, just go out and get the doorknob fur and make the item that I'm making and drop it on the. On the auction house. So it's time of day, I think, is what we're dealing with.
Jibbs
00:14:51.720 - 00:15:17.140
I need to show you that route. Oh, my gosh. I feel so bad. We were going to get together and set up your. Get that route for you so you can get the lumber. So really, really quickly.
Spoiler to everyone who's.
Well, if you caught it in last week's episode, we talked about a specific location in the commercial and in the episode where you should go to get your dornick fur. And it's phenomenal. I got to take you there. I've. I don't think. Did you go there by chance?
Kash
00:15:17.380 - 00:15:20.900
Yeah, I've kind of been going there. I kind of have my own little route down there.
Jibbs
00:15:20.900 - 00:15:21.500
Oh, all right.
Kash
00:15:21.500 - 00:15:24.980
All right. Well, down in Hollowfall, Hallowfall is a great place to get Dornan fur.
Jibbs
00:15:25.060 - 00:15:25.620
Yeah.
Kash
00:15:26.260 - 00:15:27.140
If you want to do it.
Jibbs
00:15:27.140 - 00:16:25.530
Yeah. That's a good spot. So that's cool. Yeah. I definitely noticed my sales slowed down this week tremendously. Probably four times slower.
The stuff's still selling, but it's definitely nowhere near as fast. I'm wondering partially if holidays have to play into that.
The other part of me is some people just have purchased what they want and just kind of, like, laying low for a little bit.
But it's a great time, either to all of us who are, you know, like, casual players, it's a good time just to go and chill and get your lumber and have some fun and just stockpile it and then sell that stuff, man. Because, excuse me, what Cash was saying is exactly true. I mean, like, you're able to make gold and. But it's so chill.
Like, I'll turn on a podcast or I'll turn on. I've been doing a lot of master class again lately. So, like, I'll listen to a class while I'm, like, farming lumber and.
Or, like, I'll listen to Spotify. Like, it's so chill and so relaxing.
Kash
00:16:27.200 - 00:16:38.880
I see. That's why you're so much better than me, because you're, like, learning while you're doing this stuff.
And I'm literally listening to, like, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin Christmas music the entire time.
Jibbs
00:16:39.040 - 00:16:39.600
That's a win.
Kash
00:16:39.600 - 00:16:54.440
So you're probably, like, super intently, like, looking at everything you're doing and taking notes on your master class. And I'm just like, I like Christmas. It's nice. Slumber presence.
Jibbs
00:16:57.320 - 00:18:01.080
Oh, my gosh. Well, folks, we have a show for you. It's definitely a different kind of show, but it's a show nonetheless.
And one thing we wanted to talk about is, well, number one, we're going to be doing a Q and A. So anyone who's here right now on Twitch, if you do have a question for us, ask us anything kind of thing, send us your questions.
We will be fielding the chat for those. But before we get there, it's. We have kind of some exciting things we want to talk about. So it's like, what's next for AMR in 2026?
And I want to preface this by saying this, that you guys are spreading the word. You guys are tuning in from all over the world. All over. It's crazy where you guys are listening from. And it just continues to. To grow and expand.
And we.
We are Just looking at all the stats, analytics and seeing how you guys are listening and what you're, you know, like, what's really important to you, and when you know what you're holding your finger up. Do you got to go to the bathroom? You want a hall pass?
Kash
00:18:02.120 - 00:18:06.920
No, no. I just want to say we figured out why nobody's tuning in from Kazakhstan.
Jibbs
00:18:06.920 - 00:18:11.160
No, please do.
Kash
00:18:11.160 - 00:18:19.220
Please tell it. Nobody's tuning in from Kazakhstan because apparently that's where Turtle Wow comes from.
Jibbs
00:18:19.220 - 00:18:19.580
Yeah.
Kash
00:18:19.580 - 00:18:33.700
Dude, they asked for the domain owners. Maybe we'll give them a few weeks and they'll start actually getting subscriptions and trickling into some world of work. Oh.
Jibbs
00:18:35.220 - 00:19:02.650
Oh, my gosh. That's too good. But, yeah, just. I'll stop my rambling to say thank you, everyone, for making 20, 25.
Two guys who were really nervous to step into the. The granddaddy of the mall and the monster. The. The. The. Whatever you want to call it, like, literally the mmo.
You guys have welcomed us, and you continue to tune in and spread the word. It really means a lot. So thank you. You want to take the. The lead on this?
Kash
00:19:04.010 - 00:19:20.530
Yeah. So it's. This is a lot of talk.
We've had a lot of meetings, and normally, because it's been hard for us to, like, actually sit down and meet together, because every time that we get online, we just end up starting up World of Warcraft and playing.
Jibbs
00:19:25.170 - 00:19:25.730
But we.
Kash
00:19:25.730 - 00:19:39.610
We are really looking to move the show forward in a lot of different ways. And one of the ways that we have talked about moving it forward, some of the things that we've been talking about covering is lore.
Jibbs
00:19:39.690 - 00:19:40.250
Yeah.
Kash
00:19:40.810 - 00:21:30.110
And the reason being is because Jibs and I, in the past as content creators, we've always taken a deep dive into lore. Like, we enjoy telling stories. That is a huge thing for us, you know, understanding how there's. Veterans of World of Warcraft.
People have been playing the game for years and years and years and might not have a whole lot of interest in rehearing Lore that they've already heard or just enjoy playing the game, period, and don't really have any interest in getting involved in Lore. So there's something that we came up with, an idea that we came up with to be able to give the best of both worlds.
We're not going to bore you with 10 or 15 or 20 minutes of lore. There are some fantastic content creators out there, the Karazhan Library, noble, amazing videos for deep dives on Lore.
But the way we're going to do it is something that we call Drive by lore.
For those of you that are out there that have followed our shows in the past, there is another term that we used to use, something that we used to call this. We used to call them lore lessons. So that is exactly what we are going to call these. We're going to call these lore lessons.
A little nostalgia there for you. But we're going to cover the lore in about two to three minutes. So it's going to be just like an AMR commercial.
But we are going to take the timeline and start from the very beginning and progress. It is going to take us 4,000 years of shows to bring you all the lore in World of Warcraft in three minutes a pop.
Jibbs
00:21:30.270 - 00:21:30.750
Yeah.
Kash
00:21:30.830 - 00:21:47.070
But we are going to start it and we're just going to chug along. So you're going to get a dose, you're going to get an injection of lore for about three minutes each show. We do. And it might not even be each show.
We might take some production time because these are going to be.
Jibbs
00:21:47.370 - 00:21:47.690
Yeah.
Kash
00:21:47.770 - 00:22:08.330
Voiced. And there's going to be good sound quality and there's going to be music and sounds and all the things that we like to do when we tell stories.
We're going to bring them all to you in these lore lessons. So that is a huge project for us that we're going to be taking on, and we're very excited to bring it to you.
Jibbs
00:22:08.410 - 00:24:11.090
Yeah. And one fun way, can we tell them what we're like, how we're doing it? Are you cool with that?
Okay, so when we talk about we're starting at the timeline, like he said, literally at the beginning, how it's going to be structured is this. And again, it's like two to three minutes. Right. So it's like drive through lore.
You know, it takes longer for you to go around and get your Big Mac than it does to get through these. Like he says, full audio design. That's one thing we really firmly believe here is bringing good quality audio. And we want to continue that here.
But the thing that. How we're going to do this is. So let's say Cash does. He's going to be doing. Actually, he is going to be focusing on the timeline.
And then what we'll do is basically you will have a breather. A breather episode. So he starts the timeline. Right. Well, in the next episode, then I'll be doing a character from that story.
So you're going to learn the timeline. You're going to learn famous characters and NPCs all, like, progressively and everything's going to complement each other.
And so everything that you listen to, it'll build. It'll build and build and build. And eventually we'll be putting out what we call compilations for those of you from our ESO days.
You know exactly where those things are or what those things are, and so we're going to be doing that as well.
So we will put all of these out eventually into one just massive lore lesson compilation that you can just push play and listen for eight hours at work. Try imagine however long they've that'll be. But, you know, and that's something we're really, really excited about.
It's a fun, fresh take for us from a creative standpoint. And also because we fully recognize that, like, lore isn't for everybody, we want to respect that. Why.
Why you're here, respect our audience, who we've. Excuse me. Who we've. Who we've attained over these several weeks and. But we want to do it in a way that is fun and immersive and very inviting.
And again, two to three minutes, you're going to be shocked how quick that goes because we have already done prototypes and we're listening to these and we're like, okay, this. Yeah, this feels good. Yeah, that feels bright. Yeah.
Kash
00:24:12.370 - 00:25:15.950
Well, really, what we are saying is, oh, my God, that was effing awesome. Love it. I want to do more of these. Yeah, we have a couple of.
We have a couple of pilots out there, and I don't know, perhaps we put a snippet of one of those right in the middle of this show on post edit so they can get a taste of the glory, maybe. Welcome, traveler. Every tale has a beginning, but ours begins before beginnings were even possible.
Before stars, before worlds, before the idea of life could take shape.
One little thing that I wanted to hit here is Sweeper Dave in chat was asking about there being a study guide for said lore, and I believe that could be quite easily attained with script.
Jibbs
00:25:16.030 - 00:25:26.190
Yes, that could absolutely be easily attained and something that we will definitely keep. In fact, I want to write that down so we don't forget. Yes, we'll absolutely write that down.
Kash
00:25:26.190 - 00:25:26.910
Thank you, Dave.
Jibbs
00:25:26.990 - 00:25:27.790
You're awesome, Dave.
Kash
00:25:27.790 - 00:25:36.990
If you guys didn't know, Sweeper Dave is from an amazing podcast called Solo Queue, which we got to guest on, and it was super fun.
Jibbs
00:25:37.150 - 00:25:37.670
So fun.
Kash
00:25:37.670 - 00:25:42.350
So give Dave some love. Go check out soloq podcast. It's an excellent, excellent show.
Jibbs
00:25:42.590 - 00:25:48.030
Yes. So good. So good. Tell them what's next. I'm excited about this next part because they've been Wanting this.
Kash
00:25:49.150 - 00:26:36.650
Yes.
So another thing that we are very, very much looking into and trying right now, we're gaming it, we're trying to figure out how we're going to make this work. But there's been a lot of requests for some way to connect.
And that is both a place where we can facilitate connecting with you, you can connect with us, and you can connect with fellow Azerothians and talk all kinds of things. Kind of like Gorman's question that we're going to answer early. Where can your community go to chat?
Lore, this is something that we are actively working on and we will be releasing a way for that to happen in the very near future.
Jibbs
00:26:36.890 - 00:27:40.820
Yeah, very much so. Yeah. It's. It's something that's incredibly important.
Something that we recognize probably, well, very specifically, probably the last, I would say four to five weeks. The, the need and the desire to connect with our community more so than what we're offering right now. It's really important to us.
And honestly, whenever it comes to community for Cash and I, it's. That's something that we thoroughly enjoy. Something that we, we love bringing people together.
We love, you know, just having that kind of echo chamber of people like us. Right. Like dudes with lives, you know, whatever. You like dads, moms and, you know, family life. But you love Azeroth.
And it's like sometimes you just feel as though like you, you may not have those people. Right. Or you may feel like, I just wish I could connect with someone.
That's exactly what we want to accomplish and just kind of bring this echo chamber of just like minded people, you know, and AMR people together. And it's going to be a lot of fun, honestly.
Kash
00:27:40.820 - 00:27:59.230
Yeah. Because as of right now, the biggest way for, for that to happen is either via email or Facebook or X and that is for them. Or Twitch, right.
That's pretty much, for the most part the only way to get a hold of us.
Jibbs
00:27:59.390 - 00:27:59.870
Yeah.
Kash
00:27:59.870 - 00:28:20.110
And we want to change that and we fully understand that there's plenty of folks out there that don't do social media. Totally get that. Especially like X, because X can be gnarly.
Facebook's, you know, a little more for, for the older crowd as, as we've talked about before on our show. Yeah, thank you very much. I'm still on Facebook.
Jibbs
00:28:21.470 - 00:28:21.830
Us.
Kash
00:28:21.830 - 00:28:23.150
Remember the old MySpace?
Jibbs
00:28:23.470 - 00:28:25.550
Oh, dude, I loved MySpace.
Kash
00:28:26.190 - 00:28:27.070
Of course you did.
Jibbs
00:28:27.470 - 00:28:36.190
Let's bring. You did. Dude, you had, you had a knee, you had like a neon border. You had that like your Go Go shirt on your hair. Was in a Mohawk.
Kash
00:28:38.270 - 00:28:42.350
You had a fishnet tank top. You don't know me and feet picks.
Jibbs
00:28:44.200 - 00:28:44.520
Yeah.
Kash
00:28:47.320 - 00:29:08.400
Yeah, no, I wasn't, I wasn't into, into MySpace, I think, but I think when, by the time MySpace was going around, it was like kind of like the sing a lot of the singles thing. And yeah, I've been married. I've been married for 25 years. So, yeah, that ship has sailed. I'm sure it was amazing.
But again, I've been married for 25 years, so it's like. Yeah, no, no, thanks.
Jibbs
00:29:08.400 - 00:29:09.800
Yeah, so.
Kash
00:29:10.180 - 00:29:53.720
So anyway, we wanted to. We want to come up with a meaningful way to chat with our folks.
Yeah, and, and, and to be able to hang out with you and have, you know, do some events and do some things in game. You know, you want to run a key. Awesome. Like, let's get together and, and do that thing.
And if you have, you know, something to say about the show or if we failed to research properly for our show one time, have a really. And you have a really good, very nice correction for us. We want you to be able to get that to us quickly. So that is, that's our plan.
And so bear with us on that one. But just know that that is certainly in the works for 2026.
Jibbs
00:29:54.120 - 00:31:30.780
Yeah, definitely. And the next thing that we wanted to talk about is so oftentimes whenever you listen to amr, you may hear the goblins hop in, right?
Grifty and Swifty. And honestly, they're, you know, they're like that comic relief or whatever.
And oftentimes you'll hear in universe commercials from goblins or from gnomes or from something else entirely. Well, that's something that we really want to preserve and like, keep quote unquote sacred, in a way, is the commercials, because they're fun.
And so we don't want to. We don't want to, like, oversaturate with those things. It's something that we want to continue. And so what I mean by that is this.
So in 2026, AMR is going to definitely be changing and growing, really, the, the bits and the, the schedule of what that looks like. And, and so it won't always be commercials. There'll be fun new things.
So, but the couple things we're definitely holding to, one, it's either got to be funny, it's got to fit AMR right, or two, it's got to be informational, something that can help you guys in game.
So you may listen to AMR and you may hear a bit that's actually things that are coming in the game ne the following week to help prepare you for that sort of thing. And. But of course, it'll be all dramatized and that sort of thing. But so it's just fun little things like that that are.
That can help you in your gameplay, you know, in your. In your loop, whatever that is for you. And. But at the same time, you know, we can. We can preserve those commercials and. And grow. Grow the. The.
I wouldn't say product base, but grow the. You know, the. The. The safe of things that AMR can offer the shelves. I don't know. Help me out here.
Kash
00:31:32.060 - 00:33:11.660
I think part of the. Part of the message that we wanted to del. That we want to deliver to you every week is to bring you into the game when you can't be into the game.
So two things there.
We either want to educate you with things that you might not know, or, you know, just like Jibs was saying, ways to make your gameplay more effective, or we want to make you laugh.
Our goal is to make you feel like you're in the room with us when we're, for lack of a better term, flicking each other in the nuts and laughing like two friends do over a game that we play. We really want you to feel like you're there with us.
So we're gonna get a little more crafty with some of the things that we do and bring in some more characters, maybe some more. Some more voice talent into the things that we're doing because, you know, Jibs and I's voices as. As goblins and gnomes and whatnot, only go so far.
So we might. Our. Our friend Katie in chat is probably going to be in the employ of us again because she's amazing. She says, y' all know I'm always available for.
She's fantastic. Yeah. So anyway, these are some things that we want to do for you, but we always want to keep the show fresh and moving forward.
So if there's ever anything that you have that you think would be great for a bit or you think would be a great addition to the show, please don't hesitate.
Jibbs
00:33:11.820 - 00:33:12.340
Send it.
Kash
00:33:12.340 - 00:33:13.820
Just send it.
Jibbs
00:33:13.820 - 00:34:21.020
Send it, baby. Send it. Yeah. And. And to kind of wrap all this up as far as what's coming in 2026, I'm gonna move. Move into our community Q A here.
Just want to say again, thank you, because you guys could stop listening. You guys could, you know, like, just like. Or, you know, get tired of us and whatever.
But no, like, you guys have made this really special and fun for us. And the fact that, you know that. That we get to get behind the mics and make it. Oh, no, we wouldn't. You're too nice.
But the fact that, you know, you make something special already, the fact that Cash and I can get on the mic together and enjoy building and creating together and put something together for you guys, but the fact that you guys actually listen, seriously, it means a lot. You know, that's the best part is that we, you know, we're only 13 episodes in we're. And now 14 with this. But really we're just getting started.
And that's what it feels like to us from behind the scenes, from a career creativity standpoint, is that it just feels like. It feels like we just. Does it not feel like we just started like two weeks ago? Like the.
Kash
00:34:21.020 - 00:34:21.540
It does.
Jibbs
00:34:22.580 - 00:34:22.940
Yeah.
Kash
00:34:22.940 - 00:34:46.960
I was actually counting the episodes today and I was like, man, we're. We're already going to be at 14. But it really has gone by very, very quickly.
And I think the reason why is because this is where we feel, despite all the other games we've played, we've always been playing Warcraft in some capacity and we truly feel home here. We feel like this is home here for us.
Jibbs
00:34:47.040 - 00:34:47.520
Yeah.
Kash
00:34:47.920 - 00:35:09.350
And the content creation is easy. It's made it much, much easier for us to just continue along the path and, you know, we'll bounce stuff off each other on the daily.
And it's like, oh my God. In a mid conversation, oh my God. I got an idea for a bit. He's like, what is it? I'm not telling you.
I'm just going to do it and I'll send you the edit.
Jibbs
00:35:10.470 - 00:35:12.310
That's exactly how it goes.
Kash
00:35:12.790 - 00:35:23.190
Yep, that's exactly how it goes. And it just makes it so much fun to create here. And I think that's the major reason why it doesn't feel like work.
Jibbs
00:35:23.510 - 00:35:23.870
Yeah.
Kash
00:35:23.870 - 00:35:24.710
It just feels fun.
Jibbs
00:35:24.710 - 00:36:00.960
Yeah. Agreed. Agreed. All right, so enough about what's coming in 2026 and now on to the Q and A.
And we have our first question up here from cubic journeys here in chat. And they say, besides the new content in retail, which do you prefer? Because I have not got into building classic or retail. I am Fairly new to WoW.
Although I've played on and off through the years. But after the past two weeks, I'm really starting to enjoy classic hardcore more. The trainers and professions just make more sense to me.
Unless you can help a noob understand. But the traders seem pointless in retail. Your thoughts?
Kash
00:36:02.880 - 00:36:19.840
Yes. First of all, cubic as your first foray into World of Warcraft, going with classic hardcore is freaking crazy. And I think that is super commendable.
Jibbs
00:36:20.160 - 00:36:20.720
Yeah, it is.
Kash
00:36:20.720 - 00:36:25.210
I think you deserve. I think you deserve a golf clap. Yeah, absolutely.
Jibbs
00:36:25.210 - 00:36:26.170
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Kash
00:36:26.170 - 00:37:09.590
Yes. You did hit the nail on the head when you said that the trainers are worthless. And actually, you said it a lot nicer than I just did.
You said pointless in retail. Because you're right. You are right. The joy of classic is that classic. And Jibbs has said this a billion times before, and he is absolutely right.
Classic feels like your typical old school rpg. So soak that in. Really soak that in. A few episodes ago, Jibs and I did a. We had Snark spit us out a topic.
Jibbs
00:37:10.070 - 00:37:10.590
Yeah.
Kash
00:37:10.590 - 00:37:41.540
And the topic was what's better, classic or retail? And where we both landed on retail. We've both played plenty of classic, but we both landed on retail. Jibs had way better things to say. They were.
It was a way more educated argument as to why retail is better. Mine was because classic isn't as pretty.
Jibbs
00:37:42.260 - 00:37:48.420
Oh, look at you editing. Wow. It's like watching you hold a fart. It's. It's almost uncomfortable to watch.
Kash
00:37:49.210 - 00:38:04.090
Like, you can't hold the fart anymore. Dude, I'm 50, 50, 50 years old and I like to kick, stretch and kick. There you go.
Jibbs
00:38:04.090 - 00:38:06.450
Oh, you're special. Kind of stupid. Oh, I love it.
Kash
00:38:06.450 - 00:39:32.490
But that's what it came down to. It came down to, for me, it was 100% visual. And I think a lot of it too, for me was that even with the expansions, with.
With Classic, it felt to me, it felt very confining to me, like the game at some point is going to end. And I'm not trying to talk you out of classic. Oh, my gosh. Play the crap out of it. When you're ready to come play retail, we'll be there.
Come play with us. But that's where I land. With Classic. It feels so good.
But for me, being able to look forward to new content all the time, new, fresh stuff that I haven't seen. The beauty of the changes that have been made to retail over the years, just make the game like an endless paint palette, I guess. Could you say that?
Paint canvas. Like an endless canvas. To me, it's going to continually evolve. And I think that's what I love about retail so much. So that's where I land.
But, man, for a place to start, classic is the best way to get the true feel of what World of Warcraft was and is Even when you drop into retail and by the time you get to retail, there is going to be so much content for you to enjoy.
Jibbs
00:39:32.650 - 00:39:33.370
Oh, gosh.
Kash
00:39:33.530 - 00:39:37.370
That it's. It's going to be nuts. The amount of content.
Jibbs
00:39:37.530 - 00:40:52.110
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I mean, yeah, you hit the nail on the head, you know, like classic, hardcore. That's your first. That's. I want to shake your hand. That's amazing.
And he said it right, you know, like, that's a great way to start playing classic, just because it. Classic does a great job of slowing things down. Now, hardcore I've never touched for very specific reason.
I love my characters too much, but to lose them, you know.
But when it comes to classic, you know, it slows everything down in such a way that allows you to fall in love with the world and allows you to immerse yourself in Azeroth. And if we're being honest, that's what so many of us have did.
You know, we started with classic or we started, you know, further along from classic, but still it was, you know, long before what World of Warcraft was today. So there is. And I would also throw in their cubicle, buy volume one of the lore books for World of Warcraft and read that along with your gameplay.
Like, read it or maybe pick up. There's a book great lore comes out of. Folk tale. Is it folk and fairy tales from World of Warcraft.
Kash
00:40:52.110 - 00:40:54.470
Folk and fairy tales, phenomenal.
Jibbs
00:40:54.470 - 00:41:03.610
I learned things about Kal Tirions, my favorite race I didn't even know was a thing. Like, it's just phenomenal. So definitely, definitely go check that out. Thanks for the question, by the way.
Kash
00:41:04.090 - 00:41:33.820
Yeah, and that's the beauty of. Oh, my God. I'm going to get on a lore tangent here again. But that is the beauty of the lore of World of Warcraft.
You can absorb the lore through the game and that's it. That's as far as you go. But if you enjoy the lore enough, the story in the game leaves so much, so many holes, and I think it does it very craftily.
Jibbs
00:41:33.820 - 00:41:34.340
Yeah.
Kash
00:41:34.420 - 00:42:29.080
And the books that come out, all the different book series, the novels just like what, you know, what Jibs was saying, the volume series and all that stuff, it fills in those gaps for you very, very nicely. So if you hear all these things about the old gods or like on.
On our server, I think on several servers, you always see a guild out there which is a very large guild called the Old Gods. And some people may not put it together. The Old Gods are an actual thing.
There is plenty of lore for the old gods in quests and in stories that are told in the game.
But if you really want to learn about the backstory of who the old gods were and why they're such a pivotal part of the world of World of Warcraft lore, seek out those books or listen to our lore lessons because we are going to teach you about the old gods.
Jibbs
00:42:29.240 - 00:42:49.380
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Next question here from. Oh, you already answered the Gormans on where your community can go to chat about lore.
So that is to be determined. More. More on that later. But beta rays asks, are you. Oh, the cash. This is for you. I'm going to you for first.
Are you excited for the chain Keeny coming to the Trading Post?
Kash
00:42:51.380 - 00:44:21.770
Very excited. A little split on this because I know that some of our.
I know that some of our ladies out there that play World of Warcraft have a little problem with this. And this reminds me, I don't know if you guys ever watch. I watch reels. I love watching reels. And I have jibs. I know you know this.
There is a group of people that make RPG centric, but they're live action videos about all the things that we experience in role playing games. And they made a video. It's on. It's on Facebook.
Might have to get in there and figure out who it is and put it in the notes because they, they're absolutely hilarious. They made one about this guy that they had just finished a quest and the guy walks up and he.
He talks to the quest giver and the quest giver gives him a chest plate, just this huge chest plate. And he's like, yes. And then a female's right behind him and she walks up and turns in the quest, the same exact quest. And she gets a chain kini.
And like she's looking at the dude and she's looking at the piece of armor that he just got and looking at the piece she just got that barely covers her chest. It is just freaking hilarious. So that's what that reminds me of. I happen to play male characters, so they're probably going to be wearing.
Well, at least my character is gonna be wearing leather and leaves, pretty much.
Jibbs
00:44:22.650 - 00:44:36.980
I'm totally buying one for my. My dude. Cold tieren. Totally buying one. And you know what? You know what? I'm wearing it. Trial of style, baby.
Where all the gloves are off and all matters is a. You make them laugh or. You look great.
Kash
00:44:38.500 - 00:44:41.540
Yeah. With your big old king with his moobs.
Jibbs
00:44:41.780 - 00:44:47.420
Hey, man, you know what he eats? Well, he's just thick with two Cs. Leave him alone. All right, Jeff.
Kash
00:44:47.420 - 00:44:48.339
Thank you very much.
Jibbs
00:44:48.340 - 00:44:51.140
Yes. Thank you, Jeff. That was fantastic. Well thought out.
Kash
00:44:52.100 - 00:45:06.670
Next question is from sin. What's the total number of casts y' all have done together? That's what's crazy. You still have the energy and gel to keep it legit.
Thank you very much. That is a really good question.
Jibbs
00:45:06.670 - 00:45:16.670
I have a number. It's a low, buddy. It's a low end, though, because I know I'm forgetting episodes. Many an episode. I got 243.
Kash
00:45:19.550 - 00:45:22.670
It's still a lot of episodes between, like, all of the shows that we've.
Jibbs
00:45:22.670 - 00:45:29.330
The last 13 years. Yeah. So that's why I say this is low end, though, because I know this is low. I know it's a lot.
Kash
00:45:29.330 - 00:45:32.050
We've had a lot of breaks in between. We were on a break.
Jibbs
00:45:32.050 - 00:46:25.160
We were on a break. Yeah. You know what's funny is when we started really casting together, Cash and I pretty much exclusively for a long. The longest time.
And then again recently was 2018, when we stepped in the ring with Elder Scrolls Online, and we did that for well over 100 episodes. And, yeah, I would say that, truthfully, that was the birth of Cash and I really casting together. Because we did. We did before. We did Wildstar.
We did the general PC gaming show. We did. Gosh, dude. I know we did more than that. That's only two I can draw up at the moment, but, you know, like, that was kind of like.
And he had just finished off being literally vacant from my life for about six months, and I was sitting at work and, you know, he was finishing up the things that he was doing. I think it was six months. Maybe it was three months. It felt like six months if it wasn't six months.
Kash
00:46:25.560 - 00:46:28.720
And, yeah, I remember exactly what was happening during that time period.
Jibbs
00:46:28.720 - 00:46:29.640
Yep, I did, too.
Kash
00:46:29.640 - 00:46:30.840
Yeah, I was indisposed.
Jibbs
00:46:30.840 - 00:47:25.400
You were indisposed. You were leveling up in real life. And I was just working, and I got a call from him one day, and he said, you know, I've been playing Eso a lot late.
I'm having a lot of fun. I was like, really? Said, okay, yeah, I'll check. You know, I'll play it together with you. You know, blah, blah, blah. I wasn't playing at the time.
And that was the birth of. It didn't take us long because at the end of the day, like, podcasting for us, it's like. It's like breathing, you know? Like, it.
Once you're bitten by the bug and Gone crazy. And Jack can attest, you know, like, it's just something that it.
I. I don't know, like I can't imagine a life without it, you know, like what it has brought for us from a friendship standpoint, from an opportunity standpoint. And yeah. You know, and so, yeah, I would say that it's probably a low end of 243.
I'm trying, I was trying to guesstimate how many episodes we did every show.
Kash
00:47:27.160 - 00:47:27.640
Yeah.
Jibbs
00:47:27.640 - 00:48:18.510
Because there was a lot of learning in there, folks. Like, it wasn't long stretches for shows. It was, you know, you did maybe we got 30 episodes of something, we learned a lot, blah, blah, blah.
We go back to the drawing board. Like every show has been, I think every one of our shows has been incremental. Like it just kept from.
It was a desire to succeed, a desire for quality. Like, we always tried to go that into what that next step looked like.
And typically that came between shows and then we would like, it's like you'd go back to the drawing board and come back with a different show and it was a different game, a different ip. And you know, when we talk about, on the regular episodes of amr, like we've been around. We really have.
We've played every amr, every mmo, and I feel like we cast about every experience along the way. It's like a giant timeline for us.
Kash
00:48:19.390 - 00:48:34.590
Yeah. Every long term MMO that we've played, we have done some type of a show for. And you know, we've talked about it on the show before.
That that's why we, we landed in Warcraft, because we feel like we learned so much from every one of those experiences.
Jibbs
00:48:35.070 - 00:48:35.390
Yeah.
Kash
00:48:35.470 - 00:49:09.460
That it, like the culmination of it for us.
And we've talked, we've talked about that before as well as we always felt that World of Warcraft was like the holy grail of doing podcasts because there's so many great shows. It's. It's a saturated market. I mean, there are just tons and tons of really good shows out there.
But a lot of the, A lot of the quality from some of the shows that we love to pay homage to are done by professionals, like absolute professionals in broadcasting.
Jibbs
00:49:09.460 - 00:49:10.020
Yeah.
Kash
00:49:10.260 - 00:50:24.090
And that's why I think it was so daunting and so intimidating for us to come into this space.
We always kind of felt that we had to be bringing our A game when we came into World of Warcraft, but at the same time, it took us that many years to realize that World of Warcraft is Just. It's just our game. Yeah, it's our game. And the mmo genre is 100% struggling like it is. It's really rough for new games that are trying to come out.
And, like, don't we know it. You know, just coming off of podcasting for a couple of years on the development. Yeah.
Of Ashes of Creation, which we fully believe is going to be successful. We really do. But it's going to be a niche game for a certain amount of people.
So coming back to Warcraft and playing Warcraft and deciding that, hey, let's do a show, we felt a lot of stability there. We felt a lot of confidence in podcasting for World of Warcraft because the game has outlasted them all and it's going nowhere.
Like, World of Warcraft will be with us in 10, 15 years. I'll probably be dead in that long.
Jibbs
00:50:24.490 - 00:50:26.010
Shut your mouth.
Kash
00:50:26.570 - 00:50:26.970
What?
Jibbs
00:50:27.290 - 00:50:31.770
No, you can take that. You can ask for forgiveness for that. Continue.
Kash
00:50:32.010 - 00:50:36.170
Bro, have you met my wife? Any one of these days. That's fair.
Jibbs
00:50:36.650 - 00:50:40.330
I mean, you probably deserve. Well, she wants that life insurance. I don't blame her.
Kash
00:50:42.570 - 00:50:45.490
No, my wife's an angel. I'm just kidding. She's wonderful.
Jibbs
00:50:45.570 - 00:53:07.220
I want to. I want to add to what you said. I want to add to what you said. Marital bliss. I love it. It's true, though, really, just. Anyway, but for me, it's.
I want to add to that. When he talked about, you know, coming into podcasts for a while, it's. It's not only the.
The most stable game, and it's not only the game that we've enjoyed for all these years, but it's also a game that has so much support from the outside community. You know, there are resources that we use weekly for AMR that come 100 from the community. Nothing to do with Blizzard, nothing to do with the game.
Well, it is to do with the game, but our resources that we will use that come from fellow fans, you know, and it's such a. It's such a wonderful place to create. It makes it so enjoyable.
Because, I mean, if you think about it, where we come from, oftentimes this was often the feeling. Truthfully, often the feeling was, number one, we don't know if this game is going to last. Number two, we don't know if this game's going to make it.
Number three, there is very little lore out there, very little resources, very little details on this thing. But at your heart, when you're a caster, and that's what you want to do and you have a love for the industry of casting.
Like, it's just like it's a part of you. Right. So we would do those things. And so when he says it's literally one of the most, easiest things for us to, to podcast about was wow. It's.
It's true. It's also creatively challenging, but it's very true. That's easy for us to just relax here because it's so successful from a community standpoint.
It has literally changed lives. People have built their careers for creating around World of Warcraft from a.
Whether it's a website standpoint, maybe a streamer standpoint, maybe a YouTube standpoint, but they, they like springboarded from wow. So wow did so much to. For so many people. And now, you know, we can just enjoy it and it's a relief to us. Dude.
Like, I know there's games that I can think of one right now.
I'm not going to say on the air that you and I have done where we're just like, there's like every week we are like to the grindstone of figuring out how we're going to structure the episode that week because there's so little to talk about. You know, we have been in that seat more than we care to admit.
Kash
00:53:07.220 - 00:53:12.659
Yep, I know. Like, what are we going to talk about this week? I don't know. There's a new chain, Kini, on the market.
Jibbs
00:53:12.820 - 00:53:16.740
Oh my gosh. Yeah.
Kash
00:53:17.620 - 00:53:32.030
No, but this. And that is, I think, is a big reason why we're very open about how important community is to us. Because there is no MMO without its community 100.
Jibbs
00:53:32.510 - 00:53:33.150
Agreed.
Kash
00:53:33.150 - 00:54:36.770
And. And you know, in. In 13, 14 episodes, we're already seeing the. The same like minded people listen to our show and write into us and we're like, yes.
That the goal for us, the aim for us was to act like a home. It was for us to have a home, our show to be that home for people.
And we're already starting to see, for all intents and purposes, our people show up. There's tons of us out there that have families. I can hear mine breaking the rules of podcasting. Yeah.
It's hilarious to hear my wife and daughter go back and forth. I'm like, I'm recording cats meowing, you know, like, I don't have babies anymore, but so they're not.
You don't hear any babies crying, but you can certainly hear them chatting it up and having a good time out there. And this is where we come from. These are our people.
Jibbs
00:54:36.930 - 00:54:37.330
Yeah.
Kash
00:54:37.330 - 00:54:44.660
You have A life going on outside of your love for something else. And we just want to bring all that together.
Jibbs
00:54:44.900 - 00:54:45.340
Yeah.
Kash
00:54:45.340 - 00:54:52.740
So we wouldn't be able to do this without you guys. So we really do appreciate it. This. This community is very important to us.
Jibbs
00:54:52.980 - 00:55:34.760
Agreed. Agreed. Let's see. Curious. Extra lope. Welcome in the chat says, what does the engagement look like weekly?
I love the show and has become a staple of my Tuesday morning commute. Well, first off, thank you so much for tuning in the episode. We really appreciate that. Second of all, from a.
So there's certain things in podcasting, you. You keep chair, you keep close to your. Your keep close to your chest.
But one thing we'll definitely say is that well over 20 countries and it's growing, continue to listen every single week. And that is one of those things that keeps going up and it's all over the world. All over some. I don't know what it is about. Go ahead.
I know where you're going.
Kash
00:55:35.560 - 00:55:44.680
No, I'm just. I was getting excited because this is an exciting time for us, and when we look at the numbers, we pay attention to the trends.
Jibbs
00:55:44.680 - 00:55:45.120
Yeah.
Kash
00:55:45.120 - 00:56:10.770
And when you look at the graph, every week, it's doing this, and we're just so excited. You want to talk about fuel? Like, that's freaking fuel right there. It makes us very excited to watch the numbers grow weekly.
And it means that y' all are doing what we asked, which is basically tell one friend, tell a friend, tell somebody in your guild.
Jibbs
00:56:10.770 - 00:56:11.210
Yeah.
Kash
00:56:11.210 - 00:56:23.650
If you enjoy what we're doing and if it resonates with you in any way and it seems to be working. So it's cool. We've always been big fans of organic growth.
Jibbs
00:56:23.730 - 00:56:24.170
Yeah.
Kash
00:56:24.170 - 00:56:36.340
Like, we're not going to take out an ad. We want our words. We want the quality of our. Of our show to speak for itself. So we're constantly trying to push that forward for you.
Jibbs
00:56:36.340 - 00:56:49.180
Yeah, absolutely. Strong welcome from Vancouver, Canada. You're one of our Canada listeners, so, by the way, I'll tell you this, too. Canada is our number two country.
You guys are one of the stronger countries that tune in every. Every week. This is awesome. That's so cool.
Kash
00:56:49.180 - 00:56:55.210
Thank you. But Kazakhstan's coming for you, Canada. I'm telling you, Kazakhstan's gonna overtake.
Jibbs
00:56:56.810 - 00:57:07.850
Oh, that's good. All right, so we have a couple other pre submitted questions here. This one's from Rally Burger. It's like fart's gaming. I love it.
Kash
00:57:08.809 - 00:57:09.650
Like burgers.
Jibbs
00:57:09.650 - 00:57:14.570
Yeah. You know, that's fair. What's your. What does that say? I Can't read it. What's your.
Kash
00:57:15.610 - 00:57:17.210
You want me to read it for you, old man?
Jibbs
00:57:17.210 - 00:57:40.820
Oh, I can read it now. Your cursor is moved so I know I can see. What's your favorite. Look at me how I'm trying to read this. Like I'm wearing readers. You did it again.
Oh, my gosh. What's your favorite part of recording? Oh, you're enlarging it now. We're doing this. What'd you do? Make it 72. You made it 72.
What's your favorite part of recording the show that listeners probably don't think about? I. You want to go first?
Kash
00:57:41.540 - 00:57:44.100
Nope. You go. I got my answer.
Jibbs
00:57:44.420 - 00:58:58.800
So I will say this hands down. I have worked with a lot of people over the years, wonderful people. Cash is by far the epitome of best co host, period. He understands the role.
He knows how to carry on the conversation. He in his head when he's thinking things out. I lead and he takes the ball like, it's like you're just passing. Look at your face. Oh, my gosh.
It's like a. Like handing the ball off and he runs with it.
And I say that to say probably the part that, to me, that my favorite part is from my role on the show is thinking about flow. So I'm thinking about. Because I know him for 13 years at this point. Beta rays. You shut your mouth. You know, you'd be a part of that Bear hug, too.
So brutal, romantic. For me, it's because I know him so well and I know where his head's going to go on something.
My favorite part is listening to the show in my head before we record it from a flow standpoint. So I know we'll go here. He'll do this. We may end up here. This will flow well into this. Hips and hugs gone crazy.
Kash
00:58:59.440 - 00:59:01.400
You know, everybody loves hips and hugs.
Jibbs
00:59:01.400 - 01:00:15.880
Everybody loves hips and hugs. But so I think for me, it's visualizing the show before it's recorded, truthfully, because. And that is because I know him.
If I didn't know him really well, it would be totally different. But because I'm so. Like, he and I have worked for so long together and we're so close and we talk all the time, every day. Right?
Family's like, literally like family that I know him well enough that I can hear the show before we record it. And every time, it's a surprise for me because it ultimately performs miles and miles better than in my head.
What I heard going into the episode and where he takes things and how con, like a subject will grow. Like it maybe it started here and we were talking trainers earlier and then he took that within seconds to immersion for classic.
And then just stuff like that that you don't think about very often. He takes a subject and subject and he expounds upon it. And when he expounds upon it, that leads us into a greater content discussion.
And so that's what I mean. Like he will take it somewhere that I never dreamed it would go. And he does it religiously every single episode.
So being able to visualize the episode before we record hands down is probably my favorite.
Kash
01:00:17.960 - 01:00:22.360
That's pretty cool. You can admit. Sometimes I eff it up.
Jibbs
01:00:22.760 - 01:00:23.800
Oh no, you do.
Kash
01:00:25.560 - 01:00:42.150
Sometimes. You want to show me your nervous? We should have a file of all the times that I've effed up a segment and it just gets cut out.
And then I'll listen to like the final product and I'll be like, dude, you cut it out. It was super funny. He's like, oh no. Oh no.
Jibbs
01:00:42.390 - 01:00:56.910
So I'm saving bloopers for our one year anniversary show. So we'll have a massive blooper reel. Whatever happens, that's gonna be great. I started doing that, I think it was two episodes ago.
And so, yeah, it's just gonna see what happens.
Kash
01:00:57.470 - 01:00:59.070
It's gonna be an earmuffs moment.
Jibbs
01:00:59.070 - 01:01:01.070
Earmuffs, absolutely.
Kash
01:01:01.870 - 01:01:31.860
No, that was really nice. Thank you.
I think for me, my favorite part of recording to the show, that of recording the show that the listeners probably don't realize is that every segment or thought or tidbit that goes into our show is put in from the perspective of will the listener enjoy this or find it valuable?
Jibbs
01:01:32.020 - 01:01:32.580
Yeah.
Kash
01:01:33.460 - 01:02:32.920
So we, we, we cut the fluff out for you. We're not gonna sit on our, on our show and read the patch notes for you because you're adults.
You want to read patch notes, you can go read patch notes. We're going to bring you the stuff that we think is going to be valuable for you, enjoyable for you, and that is respectful of your time.
And we've talked about all that stuff before. But just know that everything we put in our show is put in with that in mind.
And I think to me, it's a lot of fun being able to, to have the beauty of World of Warcraft. There is so much stuff to talk about on every show.
We never have to look very far to find something that is worth your time, is valuable and will maybe teach you something. And I think that's, that's my favorite part of Doing the show so far?
Jibbs
01:02:32.920 - 01:02:35.800
Absolutely. Yeah. That's well said. You want to pick the next one?
Kash
01:02:35.800 - 01:02:36.800
I got a new clip question.
Jibbs
01:02:36.800 - 01:02:37.240
Okay.
Kash
01:02:37.240 - 01:02:38.040
I got another question.
Jibbs
01:02:38.040 - 01:02:38.640
Okay.
Kash
01:02:39.680 - 01:02:47.760
Okay. This one's going to you first. This is from Respect the Heart. Has wow. Ever helped you through a tough real life season?
Jibbs
01:02:49.600 - 01:03:57.760
Yes, absolutely. So I'll be completely transparent. This year has been the hardest year of my life from a real life standpoint.
You ever have one of those years, folks, where you feel like you're fighting all the time. All the time. Fight after fight after fight after fight after fight. Unexpectedly found out I went from full time to part time on a dime.
Then further found out I wasn't getting paid for holidays. So we're having to adjust for those things. All this happening during the. The show and it's been a very difficult year to be completely transparent.
Very difficult. I don't talk about it ever. Ever. I've never talked about on the air.
But one of the things I deal with is anxiety and I never used to have to deal with that ever.
And this year has been a year of discovery for me from a standpoint of learning how to cope and deal and course, you know, therapy, whatever, you know, medicinal reasons, things for a little bit. And it has been a. It's been a long year of fighting. And I say that to say when I saw the midnight trailer and.
Kash
01:03:59.520 - 01:03:59.800
When.
Jibbs
01:03:59.800 - 01:05:23.180
I said I was in tears, I was because it hit me because I needed it. I needed that hit. It was when she's praying and she's praying and she's praying and she's praying and she's praying and she's praying.
And at the end, you see that hand, it's like hope, you know, and that hit me in an incredibly personal way level because of the year that, you know, that, that we have. Have had. And so, yeah, wow's definitely helped me through some real life stuff and continues to do so and you know, so absolutely, yeah. Hope.
Hope is, is. Is an un. It's something that's not talked about enough, I don't think, because everyone's going through something, right?
And that's why we always say on the show that you never know what someone's going through behind the scenes, you know, and. And so it's and the same for developers, right? Like developers are. They're real people, you know, they have feelings too.
And so it's treating people with respect and kindness and leading with. With kindness, cash. And I always say kindness is free. That's exactly what I tell my child. And that's what we tell each other, it's. It's free to give.
And so, yeah, World of Warcraft has Absolutely. Absolutely. And continues to bring you through real life lessons, without a doubt.
Kash
01:05:25.340 - 01:05:35.260
I don't know I'm gonna follow that. But I'll tell you what, that is the reason that I tell you on the daily that you're one of the toughest mfers I've ever met.
Jibbs
01:05:35.340 - 01:05:36.140
Thanks, buddy.
Kash
01:05:37.020 - 01:05:53.330
Yeah. I've seen you go through a lot of dude. Yeah. So for me, I. I do have to echo him in saying I'll. And I'm probably going to say this a little more.
A little less tastefully than you did, but. F 2025.
Jibbs
01:05:53.409 - 01:05:54.130
Oh, yeah.
Kash
01:05:54.210 - 01:06:37.110
Because it has undoubtedly been the most difficult year of my life as well. I've had just a lot of personal stuff going on, and I have. I have aging parents. My parents are aging. Dementia got a hold of my mom. My dad was.
My dad's old Vietnam grizzled Vietnam vet. He had. He's got a bunch of stuff going on with him, and it's. It's been a fricking really, really rough year. And it's funny because I think a lot.
I think a lot of people would say that, like. Oh, yeah, like, 2020 and 2021 were the hardest years because of COVID Right. Covid changed everybody's lives.
Jibbs
01:06:37.190 - 01:06:37.670
Yeah.
Kash
01:06:39.590 - 01:06:50.710
But, man, I mean, 2025 for me has completely trumped the debacle that Covid was. It was brutal.
Jibbs
01:06:50.710 - 01:06:51.190
Yep.
Kash
01:06:52.870 - 01:07:10.320
So anyway, like, those are probably the two biggest things, but I mean, just a. A bunch of personal stuff. You know, My daughter got in a couple wrecks, which weren't her fault, by the way. She was stopped.
But you want to talk about being freaked out about something?
Jibbs
01:07:10.400 - 01:07:10.880
Yeah.
Kash
01:07:11.040 - 01:07:29.380
Your kid gets into a wreck and you get that phone call, it's like, oh, my God, you know, health scares stuff. You know, again, like, stuff with the parents. I've had two of my beloved kiddies pass away this year, which was really, really freaking hard.
So, yeah. F 2025.
Jibbs
01:07:29.620 - 01:07:30.100
Yeah.
Kash
01:07:30.420 - 01:07:46.180
But. And I think this is why I'm so lucky that I have such an amazing family. They both understand.
My wife and daughter both understand how pivotal getting some game time is for me.
Jibbs
01:07:46.260 - 01:07:46.740
Yeah.
Kash
01:07:46.980 - 01:07:56.190
In my life, there are two things that will turn me into an instant asshole. Jibs knows what they are.
Jibbs
01:07:56.350 - 01:07:58.750
Yup. Yup.
Kash
01:08:00.270 - 01:08:02.110
If I don't get a workout in.
Jibbs
01:08:02.350 - 01:08:02.910
Oh, yeah.
Kash
01:08:02.910 - 01:09:20.170
And if I don't, ask me why, it's just become part of my life. But if I don't get outside and do something hard and challenging.
Unless, like, my body's battered and I'm taking a day or two off, I have to get outside and do something challenging. And once that's done, I can semi enjoy my day. But the second part is gaming time.
If I don't have some gaming time, even if it's half an hour to do a couple of dailies and taste Azeroth or whatever game it is, I have to have that time. So to answer this question, 100%, the game has gotten me through a lot of hard stuff.
Because when you can dive into something, dive into a world that's not this one, and you can enjoy that time and forget about the crap that you're going through, it makes a world of difference. It is that one thing that can just mentally disconnect you from the things that you're dealing with and reset you.
Jibbs
01:09:20.170 - 01:09:20.650
Yeah.
Kash
01:09:20.890 - 01:09:24.970
And World of Warcraft has certainly had a huge part in that. For me.
Jibbs
01:09:25.050 - 01:09:36.500
It's the warm blanket, you know, it's the warm blanket we always talk about. And it's different for everybody. You know, it's a different thing for everybody. But you're exactly right. They're exactly right.
Kash
01:09:37.780 - 01:09:46.380
Yeah. And as we age, just real quick, as. As we age a bit, we're not dead yet. Not dead, just severely burned.
Jibbs
01:09:46.380 - 01:09:47.380
There's a flesh wound.
Kash
01:09:48.580 - 01:09:58.420
As we age, I think that is why we preemptively lean towards leading with kindness.
Jibbs
01:09:58.660 - 01:09:59.140
Yeah.
Kash
01:09:59.380 - 01:10:12.190
Because like Jim said, everybody's going through something and you're seeing pixels on your screen, but there's a real person behind that. So, you know, we tout that and we try to live it.
Jibbs
01:10:12.190 - 01:12:05.990
Yeah. And I'd like to piggyback off that too.
I think that's partially why I love the roleplay community so much, because those people leading with kindness speaks volumes to that niche within World of Warcraft. As I get a spam call while we're. While we're doing this, it is in. It's just leading with kindness.
And even, of course, it goes beyond that, that niche community.
But that's where it really hit me this, this year is greater understanding for a smaller community that I never really dove into and I dove into, and I'm so glad I did. And it's the same thing for the wow. The greater wow community, you know, the impact of kindness. And so, yeah, that's good. Cubic journeys.
Asked question, as being a casual player, how often do you guys play? Do you try to get some game time in every day or at least once a week?
Well, I'm of the opinion that casual is not just your gameplay, but it's how you choose to play when you're in the game. I say that really selfishly in covering for myself because I typically have the evenings to play. Like we're at that family level where.
So what you see here live chat behind me is this sound dampening curtain is the rest of the rigs. So it's like a game room, you know, for the family and, and craft room.
And so like my kiddos now at the age where, you know, we're gaming and he's gaming with his friends and I'm right here, dad's right behind him and that's our evenings, you know, and family time, of course, you know, watch shows, playing board games, whatever. But so for me it's. I definitely get to game every day.
Very thankfully I can say that how I choose to game I would say is definitely very casual from a standpoint of what I'm doing when I'm in the game. Especially these days, you know, cozy. I can't underline cozy enough, you know, cozy and chill like that is. That's a nice. And I like that a lot.
Kash
01:12:07.910 - 01:14:05.850
And I'll echo that by saying I try and get some game time in every day. Some days doesn't work out as well as others. Some days I work and some days I have a list of things to do for the wife or just around the house.
Just being a dad that doesn't allow me as much game time, but I still try to get some game time in every single day, even if it's only that half hour, whatever. And then there's the other side of me. When the wife's away, she goes to work. And when the daughter.
When my daughter's at school or work, I will play as long as I possibly can, but I always prioritize game time last. I gotta get the things done that I need to get done for the day. I gotta make sure, you know, the house looks good.
My wife and I, a lot of times are like passing ships. I come home in the morning from work and my wife is all prettied up and leaving for work. So she leaves. There's things that she couldn't get to.
I try and get to them for her because there was a time when I played so much World of Warcraft that I almost lost my wife. So don't do that. Was many years ago and we have since learned to balance.
I learned to not be an idiot and she learned that my game time is very important to me. So we compromised on that one pretty hard. But yeah, I'd say every day I try to get in there and I still consider myself a casual player.
And again, like, like Jibs was saying, it is a lot of times based on the things that you are doing in the game. Whereas I might run more like mid level mythic keys than James runs.
Jibbs
01:14:05.850 - 01:14:16.890
Oh yeah, you, you do well at it though. See, that's the difference. You do really well at those things. I feel like I'm being drug on my face because my character's dead the entire time.
We're mythics.
Kash
01:14:17.770 - 01:15:40.190
I think that is nothing but repetition because I still white knuckle the F out of my razor Naga. Every time I'm trying to heal a key that's above about a six, I'm white knuckle in that thing.
Oh man, it can be stressful and there's been keys that, that I've run that I'm just, I, I like, I'm done. I don't want to heal another key ever again. And I'll go like right back to picking flowers. And that's the casual side of me.
And I, I think I'm mostly a casual player, but I dabble in, you know, probably that mid range of trying to push content a little bit. But yeah, man, I thank you cubic for, for saying that these responses are real. I will definitely, yes, Stark.
I am 100 talking about canvas gambit sucks. But you know, I, I, I hope you can feel that these responses are coming from the bottom of our hearts because. Because they are.
I mean, we're trying to be as real as possible when it comes to stuff like this and let you know that we are real people going through real crap. But those are good ones. What do we have as the next one?
Jibbs
01:15:41.150 - 01:15:57.790
Let's see. Frog Ribbit asks, do you think is better when it's harder or when it respects players time more? Whoa. That is a show topic right there.
Kash
01:15:58.190 - 01:15:58.630
Wow.
Jibbs
01:15:58.630 - 01:16:02.190
That's a roundtable. That's enough for a 30 minute or answer.
Kash
01:16:03.230 - 01:16:06.720
But honestly, bro, I think wow does both.
Jibbs
01:16:06.960 - 01:16:07.440
Yes.
Kash
01:16:08.880 - 01:17:55.580
When is it better? Wow to me is, is better when you're achieving what you want for the day. Yes, for that play session. That's when I think wow is better.
So if your play session is that you want to fill out your vault that day and you're going to push some keys, and if pushing keys to you is doing a mythic zero or a plus two and you are successful, you time those keys, you're in there with your friends, you have a good Time you fill out some vault slots, that's when wow's better. But if it's better for you on that particular day because you want to go farm Dornick fur, that's what you want.
Dornick fir lumber and you want to sell whatever you're selling and make some money and it's just chill picking flowers time, that's when wow's better. I think that is a perspective thing. And the beauty of it is that WOW is as difficult or as simple as you want it to be that day.
And it's a pretty beautiful thing to have that.
Whereas there's other games out there, and I'm not saying they're good, bad or indifferent, but there's other games out there where it's a hundred percent PvP all the time. And your gameplay session is at the mercy of others and what they want to do to you for that particular game session.
Yeah, it, like the, the one that I think about like quite the most is like New World. New World was very dependent on what another player wanted to do, especially if. Because it's a PvP game, right?
Jibbs
01:17:55.820 - 01:17:56.300
Yeah.
Kash
01:17:57.340 - 01:18:14.030
Another one is Throne and Liberty. That game is all about PvP. You go out and play in that game and depending on what others, what others have plans for you.
That's going to be your gameplay session. Yep. You got to learn a day, boy.
Jibbs
01:18:14.030 - 01:18:14.390
Yeah.
Kash
01:18:14.390 - 01:18:30.950
And it makes it tough, but Warcraft gives you a lot more choice and it gives you a lot more options for when you're just not feeling it. You can go out and have an entire gameplay session, not kill a single damn thing in Warcraft. And it's pretty cool.
Jibbs
01:18:30.950 - 01:18:31.390
Yeah.
Kash
01:18:31.390 - 01:18:32.550
To have that flexibility.
Jibbs
01:18:32.870 - 01:19:30.010
I've done more killing of just aggro mobs the last probably week from farming lumber than I have actually being in a dungeon from like a number standpoint point, like I. I honestly like. And what's funny is because it's like you said it exactly right, that Warcraft is so.
Is the reason why Warcraft is great is because it allows you to make it as hard as you want, the gameplay as hard as you want, or as simple as you want. The fact that we have that flexibility as a player base is amazing, man.
You want to go out and farm pets, even though the, you know, they've effectively really wound down that system, you know, the, the pet battle system, you want to go do that. There's like 1800 pets or something crazy like that that you can go and, you know, collect. So it's, it's cool. All right.
Well, I think that's all the questions we have here from people. Do you want to move into the hosts? You know, you had a question for me, and I think I got one for you.
Kash
01:19:30.730 - 01:19:38.110
Yeah. So we, we did a couple of submissions for ourselves, and I think we can do this relatively quickly.
Jibbs
01:19:38.270 - 01:19:38.830
Yeah.
Kash
01:19:38.990 - 01:19:47.070
But I wanted us to answer these. So this is my question to you, Jibs. What is your biggest motivation to create content?
Jibbs
01:19:47.470 - 01:21:44.520
Oh, wow. Okay. I'll. I'll try to keep this as quick as possible. When I started in 2012, I just wanted to be heard.
I knew that I wanted to be bigger than Terre Haute. And by bigger, I just mean, like, I wanted to do more than what my city would allow for me. I was totally out of myself in the air.
But anyway, just wanted to do more than what I is in my area. You know, I come from a blue collar town and I just wanted to be more. And I felt more tech related and I just like, I want to be heard.
That was the thing for me. I want to be heard. And that's when it started way, way, way back when, before Twitch and all that stuff. And now over the years of learning.
For me personally, my biggest motivation to podcast is truthfully, two things. Number one, to enjoy the fruits of our labor as much as we can. You know, to. To really try to build something. You know, like from a.
Strictly from a show and business standpoint, like, just build something and see something go and. And see the people that come around that thing. That's exciting to me. I'm a business major. I enjoy that thing.
But also, and more so important, truthfully, it's to create something that makes someone smile, that makes their day better. That, you know, like, because we always say in podcasting, it's quote unquote, limited fame. Right.
You could be at the supermarket and someone who may not be here on Twitch, they may listen to you religiously and you'll never know it kind of thing. Right? But you'll know it digitally because, you know, they'll chat with you, but in person, it's so.
It's like limited, quote unquote fame, you know, and so it's just like from that standpoint, just the fact that to make someone smile or make their day better, make them laugh, you know, like, just do off the wall stuff. Like these commercials we've done, like, like, I forget the one. I always go back to it just because I always remember it for whatever reason.
The corpse, like Toys R Us version for corpses from necromancers, for wow, like.
Kash
01:21:44.520 - 01:21:46.880
Was it was it Necromancers R Us.
Jibbs
01:21:46.880 - 01:22:24.690
Necromancers are us. I'm like, what the heck, man? You know?
But it was just funny moment and stuff like that, like making people laugh and feel better in a world that's so full of crap and we're so inundated with just overload. Right. All the time, you know, you guys know it. Like the notifications on your phones or, you know, whatever it is.
It's just like when you can just stop for an hour and however long our episodes are, 15 to 30 minutes, and just focus in a world and a thing that can take you out of where you're at and take you to somewhere else and make your day better. That, I think, truthfully, at my core, is probably my motivation for podcasting.
Kash
01:22:26.610 - 01:23:25.290
I think I'll make mine easy. My motivation for podcasting began with the fact that just playing a game and researching a game was not enough. It wasn't enough for me.
I needed another layer. I needed another dimension to my gameplay. And the reason I got into podcasting is because I had a podcast that I loved.
It was called Old Republic Radio, and it was for swtor, and I was such an avid fan of that show that I would write into them all the time.
And because I wouldn't shut up, they had me come on as a guest, and I did one episode with them, and by the next episode, they'd already asked me to stay on the show for the long term. That was it. And that was my. My foray into podcasting. And, Ivan, if you're out there, love you, buddy.
Jibbs
01:23:25.290 - 01:23:26.130
Yeah, buddy.
Kash
01:23:26.610 - 01:23:33.010
Yep. And I think Ivan is a good. A big reason why both Jibs and I.
Jibbs
01:23:33.170 - 01:23:33.650
Yes.
Kash
01:23:33.730 - 01:23:41.740
Have such high. We have such high expectations of ourselves for our show and our quality.
Jibbs
01:23:41.740 - 01:23:42.220
Yeah.
Kash
01:23:42.380 - 01:24:16.370
That is Ivan. He was the producer of Old Republic Radio way back in 2010, 2011. And the reason. The reason why I'm here.
But to answer it just definitively, I needed an extra layer to something that I already loved, which was gaming and needed something else on top of everything else. Playing the game, researching the game, having a good rotation, learning the lore.
I needed to be able to talk about it, and this gives me that outlet.
Jibbs
01:24:16.450 - 01:25:22.340
You and I were very fortunate. That's something you and I have never really discussed on the mic, and we. We understand it behind the scenes more than we talk about it.
You and I had a very unique and fortunate upbringing, I would call it, in the industry of podcasting, because at the time, it was an MMO community and everyone was creating shows we had a community of gamers, but everyone dove into podcasting, and we had to council, quote, unquote, 12 people leading this community. Literally every one of those people had their own show. And when he talks about Ivan, like, that was somebody who instilled an expectation of.
Of a good product. And that was where we both, I think, really latched onto that and never let go. Like, it's. We are literally judge our worst critics every episode. And.
But the thing that Ivan did was so fortunate. Like, he became, in a lot of ways, our mentor for podcasting. I remember calling and texting him in the evenings, four or five o'. Clock.
He's hanging out with his family. I'm blowing his phone up because I have questions. I want to know. I'm hungry. Right.
Kash
01:25:22.500 - 01:25:25.940
And you like goblins chewing on your wires. Yeah.
Jibbs
01:25:27.780 - 01:26:14.200
And so, like, you know, like, I remember those days. And so we are very fortunate to be able to have that upbringing of. Of people who were.
Honestly, I think what it was was we were always competing in our heads with our friends. You know, like, we loved them, but we. We wanted to, like. And you didn't have Twitch back then, right? You had YouTube, and that was it.
And people would go to podcasts for their. For their. Their information. Like swtor. EA bioware was telling nothing, nothing about swtor. Everyone went to podcasts during that time.
And so it was a very special time. And that's where we all started and brought us, you know, fast forward 13 years. Ish. Here we are now. And so it's.
We're very fortunate, I would say, to have that, you know, that upbringing.
Kash
01:26:15.160 - 01:26:30.520
Every time I talk to Ivan, it still drives him crazy when. Because I still haven't figured out how to avoid plosives, I'm like, dude, I have big lips. Explosive all the time. Oh, that's my favorite.
Jibbs
01:26:30.520 - 01:26:32.360
That your deep breaths. That's my favorite.
Kash
01:26:32.680 - 01:26:35.720
No, don't worry about it. I have a lot to say.
Jibbs
01:26:35.720 - 01:26:45.490
You have a lot to say. That's right. All right, last question here. I don't think we have any more from. I'm just checking chat. Okay.
My question to you is, why is Community so important to you?
Kash
01:26:48.770 - 01:28:06.640
Because people make the game. People make the game. You can have the biggest, highest budget for an MMO or any game anywhere that's a multiplayer game and release it.
And without the people, it means nothing. I think that's why Community is so important. And the other thing is because I've seen the fruits of what Community can do on a larger scale.
And on a one on one scale with just your friends in Discord. And our buddy tested Weaver, who's here, he said it.
He said it earlier, that there's nothing that's better than just laughing with your friends in Discord when you've had a rough day. And it's. It's totally true. But in just like we cover on Heroes Call, the community goes so much deeper than that.
When people are actually reaching out and changing lives, all based on a video game or, you know, a group of friends, and there's an idea that comes up or there's a charity out there online, stuff with your friends. Playing a game as a community can make the difference in a lot of people's lives, even if it's just one.
Jibbs
01:28:06.800 - 01:28:07.360
Yep.
Kash
01:28:07.920 - 01:28:22.310
But people coming together make the game to me. And that's why community people, you know, spending their evening with us right now in this chat, it warms my heart and it drives me.
Jibbs
01:28:23.590 - 01:29:18.730
Yeah, it's the wind in your sails. Honestly, like it. Community is everything. You know, it's. Man, it is everything. It's everything to an mmo. It's everything to. For friendships.
It's everything for those bad days that you have, you know, like that was mentioned. It's the gift that literally keeps on giving to every person you know is community. We have said it before. Say it again. I still believe it.
Gaming is better with friends because when you have those days, your friends are there and it's so special and 100% true. Wow, this was heavy.
This was a heavy lame in our last late watch, but I said last watch and apparently we're doing more of this per cash, so I don't know when we're going live again, but we'll.
Kash
01:29:18.730 - 01:29:21.010
Figure it out tomorrow.
Jibbs
01:29:21.090 - 01:29:21.570
Tomorrow.
Kash
01:29:21.570 - 01:29:22.450
We'll be live tomorrow.
Jibbs
01:29:22.450 - 01:29:25.570
Christmas Eve. Santa's coming it down.
Kash
01:29:28.130 - 01:29:30.130
Oh, my God, it's Santa.
Jibbs
01:29:30.610 - 01:29:31.490
I know it.
Kash
01:29:31.490 - 01:29:38.550
I know as you are gonna be with your kids tomorrow having a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful holiday. I.
Jibbs
01:29:38.620 - 01:31:35.140
